went to bbdc ytd mornin wif piggy to top up my account..yes..i failed my final theory test so hv to book for de test n retake it again..sianz half..n i was quite confident after i took de test dat i will b able to get thru..oh well..i dun really mind retakin actually, but i hv to wait 1 mth to my test date..which is in june..n dat's when i'll b havin my exams..sianz....
we finally went to de istana to pay our repects to de late Dr Wee Kim Wee..many of my frenz dun seems to b much affected by de passin of our former president, coz all of us r juz pri sch kids when he stepped down from Presidency n therefore, dun really rem much abt him..yes..they respected him n feel sad n stuff, but it seems to affect me more, for some reason dat i dun even really koe myself..juz as i told ali de other day: mayb i'm gettin more emotional as i grow older..haha
anyway, we reached de istana at abt 12.35 n joined de long queue dat is formin outside PS..there r many sch kids n workin adults, n even monks n lamas..de queue moved faster den we expected, n we only waited abt slightly more den an hr be4 we were ushered into de entrance of de istana for a security check..( side track abit..most of de security guards r surprisingly very young..n a few r rather..erm..gd lookin..haha..but dat's not de reason of me being there k..)..i went thru de check smoothly, everthin's ok, security pple r friendly but i dislike de fact dat they hv to check thru my bag..but they r juz doin their job..juz like @ de airport..oh well..but piggy was not so lucky..haha..de censor sounded when he went thru de scanner, but they cant find anythin when they use de hand scanner ( or wat isit called? ), so he had to go thru it again..de censor sounded again, n dis time they switched de hand scanner to a higher sensitivity n found de culprit: de metal buckle on his belt..(-_-")..n to think dat he's de one who kept remindin me not to hv anythin metallic on me..haha..
after de security check, we still hv to wait for a while for mini buses to tk up us to de istana buildin..it's my 1st time visit @ de istana n de place is beautiful..de scenery is juz so pretty..reached de buildin in less den 5 mins n were ushered into de buildin to signed our names n proceed to de state room, where de former president laid..we stood in a row in front of de casket n waited for de pple be4 us to pay their respects..den it's our turn..we were told to stand at each side of de casket, 4 or 5 pple at a time..me n piggy stood rite beside de head of de casket n i finally saw de ex-president for de 1st time; here lies de president dat i hv always respected..he looked small but peaceful..........
we paid our respects n de next thing we koe, we were being ushered out of de state room n joined de queue of pple waitin for de buses to bring us out..
i koe dat i wun feel regret when i looked back in de future as i had finally met de one president who had won de hearts of many pple.. =)
i wasnt really in de mood to go for my class after dat so i decided to go catch a movie wif piggy instead..haha..feel abit bad to ask him pei wo go bbdc n istana, n den had him goin home alone..haha..watched Guess Who, de only movie i wanna watched since it started screenin..de movie was ok for me, though piggy tot it was quite gd..de plot wasn really to my likin..haha..speakin of movies, it reminds me of de upcomin animated film Madagascar!! screenin on 27 May..cant wait to catch dat..haha.. =)
