HAPPY YEAR 2007 !!!

my dears..how do u guys spend ur last day of 2006?? i'm sure u all had fun rite..haha..

as for me, i started my day by wakin up @ noon..haha..been sleepin late dis days..long holiday mah..anyway, after breakfast, spent half of afternoon clearin out my basement wif my bro..had a short rest be4 headin out to Toa Payoh for dim sum dinner @ Fortunate Restaurant..i like their dim sum..mainly becoz i like their prawns..when u bite it, very very QQ..n since majority of their dim sum had prawns in it, so that's y..

after dinner me n bro went to IMM after sendin my parents home..he wanted to buy a new hp n brought me along to help him choose de number..haha..n so he manage to get a new Samsung hp on de last day of 2006..somethin to rem abt..wahaha..i'm a fan of Samsung hps too..especially de clamshells..classy classy..haha..

so de final hrs of 2006 were spent watchin live telecast of countdown parties..not de Vivocity one though..actually be4 watchin de telecast, i was feelin abit of regret for not joinin de countdown parties out wif frenz n stuff..but once i saw de telecast of Vivocity @ 11pm, i was actually glad dat i'm not out there..becoz de atmosphere doesn really look dat happenin, not high enough..pardon me, but dat's how i see it when compared to dat of taiwan's..haha..therefore i spent de last hr swtichin between ch 52 n 54 of de cable tv..yes..alone in de livin room..sounds sad rite..

but wait, @ 12am, my sis called from HK n wished me Happy New Yr..cheer me up from my rather boring mood..den my bro came down n we tok abit..both of us decided to home instead of joinin frenz out, therefore to make up for de lack of fun, we mixed our own party drink --- Jack Daniels plus coke...wahaha..n we cheers n down our 1st liquor for 2007..wahaha..amusing rite..i think so too..

cont watchin de telecast countdown party @ taiwan..was hopin dat i might catch a scene of my darlin performin although chances r that he might be performin @ some place where no telecast to s'pore is made..but anyway, my wait hasen been wasted!!! he was de last to perform n omg, he so 帅!!! haha..de party ended wif his performance of 精舞门!! simply terrific!!! haha..wat a nice start for 2007..for me at least..heez

okie..goin zzz soon...goin JB later wif family..once again, HAPPY NEW YEAR to all u guys!!

had a belated bday celebration wif S05 right after my last paper on tue..haha..nice way to unwind after wks of muggin..ok lah..abt 3 wks only..haha..coz i only started revising 1 wk be4 exams..therefore, i dun hv much hope in passin my papers..oh well..wait till eams r out den worry ba..wahaha..

makan @ this place in @ Cineleisure..but de guys r like complainin how sucky de food is ( or rather seem to be ) once we start flippin de menu..haha

our makan!! mine's de last one..i ordered daty becoz of de oven-baked cheese..n i did finish it..BUT only de cheese..de spaghetti's a tad bland, n de piece of pork too fatty for my liking.. (-_-")

Have'nt been udating these days..Call it procrastination..haha..

exams due in abt 2 wks time, but i've yet to really start revising..all i did was to read thru my tax planning notes..which is really not useful @ all..for my exams, de main thing is to apply de theories, not juz reproducing them on dat booklet during de 3 hrs..haiz..n i hv ye t to touch on my other 2 papers..audit + advanced audit..i hate theory papers..pls kill me........

anyway, on a happier note, my darling's album's offically released!!! needless to say, i went down to grab one on de 1st day of his album launch..credits to piggy for sending me down..haha..along wif his cd, i got a big big poster together wif a sticker for de hp..haha..unexpected gifts..heez..

i enjoyed abt 7 out of de 11 songs in his album, making it even worthwhile to get his album..好听！！！ =)

哈哈。。蛮久没有update了。。有一点懒惰啦。。哈哈。。。

好看吗？我对它可说是一见钟情啊！！差不多一个月前我和JQ看到这个GUESS的包包。。那时候我的包包已经坏了。。所以当时很想卖的，而JQ说可以送我，当是生日礼物。。可是包包只剩下最后一个，而是on display的，看起来有一点点肮脏，所以就没卖了。。几天后我又和min min去看，可是还没进货，结果我就请the salesperson帮我reserve一个。。

而我终于在上个星期天成功的卖到了！！是和piggy去的。。哈哈。。好开心啊！！　=)

Hi!!!

haha..i koe been a mth since i last blogged..was actually waitin for pix from my last sec sch gatherings but it had yet to come..so..............

anyway, there's only 2 thingy that happen durin de past mth that's worth mentioning..how sad.....

I went to Manila, Philippines last wkend!!! yup..left S'pore on fri morning n ack on sun late afternoon..u guys think dat's pretty short rite? dat's wat i tot so too until i went there..there's really not much to see lor..nothin to buy also..it's one of de few times dat i go overseas n come back empty-handed..literally..mayb coz we aren't goin wif a tour group, but we did join a 3 hr tour on de 2nd day n it brought us to de more famous attractions in Manila..so now de pix, nothin much though coz my hp's batt almost died on the 2nd day..

went to the American memorial city or somethin like dat, which was built in memory of the 2nd World War.

de names of de American soldiers and Philippino scouts n some other nationalities soldiers who died while fighting against de Japanese during de 2nd WW.

see de crosses? these r de graves of de soldiers who died in de WW..according to de tour guide, there are abt 17, 250 such graves, abt half of them unidentified..

the maps clearly show each significant event that happened during de 2nd WW..

de tour guide brought us to dis place where de famous handicraft's shop located..din buy anythin though..

i like horses...

de cannons n de shells dug out after de 2nd WW..

Fort Santiago..de tour guide went on n on abt de story behind it, but i was too irritated by de sudden pain caused by my wisdom tooth to listen..

dis sea is dead..see de pollutants? terrrible..

stopped by @ the Church of St Augustin which was built in 1599..there's a weddin goin on inside, n according to de tour guide, only de rich pple can afford to hv their weddin there..

dat's all de pix i've tok fro de 2nd day..after de tour, we went to makan at some korean restaurant near our hotel for lunch..de food's nice, n cheap too..yummy..went to de shopping mall --- The Landmark for dinner during de 1st n 2nd day evening..i think de Philippinos like Sizzler..n they love pork..everywhere u go confirm got pork one..eat until i scared ah..haha

ok..dis is already de 3rd day..on de way back to Clark, where our flight is..see de vehicle? they call it Jeep, n it's somethin like Thailand's Tu-tu

yup..dat's all abt de trip..nothin really interestin..but at least i hv been to Phillipines, which's consider near to us coz it's like only 3+ hrs away..come to think of it, think i've travelled to almost all de Asian countries..except for Taiwan..i wanna go TAIWAN!!!!!!!!!

okie..de 2nd thingy worth mentioning is de pluckin of my remaining 2 wisdom tooth, which is like dis morning..after de 1st time, i assume dat it will be de same lah..so when i open my mouth for de surgeon to give de injection, i wasn't prepared for de pain..be4 she injects, she say it's only like antbite..antbite ur head lah..de pain's like needle pokin into ur skin ( when sewin ) but only 10 times worse..i'm not exaggeratin, coz my threshold for pain is relatively high, but i kept tearing when she did de injection..not once, not twice but 3 times..n each injection she poke at different places (-_-")..n de extraction is more painful den de 1st time..dis time it's not only pressure i felt, it's pain..i nearly asked her to stop while's extractin my lower tooth halfway..everythin abt dis 2nd surgery is pain, pain n pain..mayb is de surgeon..she's not de same surgeon i had durin de 1st surgery..

oh well..at least is over..but de bleedin haven stop..damnit..

de only thin dat's gd abt dis 2nd surgery is dat my tooth r intact..see how big it is..haha..n ya..my upper wisdom tooth is quite badly decayed at de root..dis may be de reason for de pain i'm havin for de past few wks..

ok dears..dat's all..time to go watch my 小猪 show..oh btw, u guys can watch this if u r free..very funny..recommended by piggy..haha

i received my official driving licence liao!!!!!!!

due to some feedback abt de risk of me uploadin my licence, hv to tk it away lah..i koe u guys will miss me face though..wahaha..

anyway, had a brief meetin wif one of my audit client dis afternoon which makes me come into a conclusion: Australian's ang mo is de most difficult to understand as compare to American or British..i can hardly make out wat he's tokin abt..luckily my dad's in de meetin wif me ( coz i die die ask my dad to pei wo..haha )..at times, when he decides to speak @ a faster pace, i can only stare @ him blankly n say "pardon?"..imagine a normal "today" is pronounced as "to-die"..haha..but dat's their accent..who koes, they may feel our S'poreans english is damn terrible or funny..

haha..becoz i finally passed my driving test!!! whhhoooooooohhhhhhooooooo!!!

haha..almost a yr after my 1st failure attempt..i got my licence!!! n only 6 demerit pts dis time round, comparing to 30pts de 1st time..

wat's more, i got back de same tester!! haha..so巧..

becoz which ever route n tester allocated to us is go by balloting; meaning dat de 1st person ( urs truely ) will pick a test receipt from a ballot box which will determine de "destiny" of one of de candidates n so on..there's abt 15 pple tkin de same test slot as moi, so wat r de chances of gettin back de same tester?

eh..i dunno..coz i sux @ probability..

anyway, it's rather slim lah..but lucky me..i got back my tester from my 1st attempt..a certain Mr Tan..i tot he looked similar initially ( coz dat is a yr ago when i saw him )..n i'm surprise he kind of like rem me..haha..coz while he followed me down to my test car, he says:

"this is de 2nd time i'm taking you rite? muz do ur best hor"..

haha..i told him i'm very nervous..n he say somethin like " you can do it" or somethin along dat line..den he asked me y did i fail de 1st round..i was tempted to say "becoz u dun let me pass" but decided against it..scully he cant tk a joke..haha..so i told him:

"becoz i stopped @ de pedestrian crossing de other time..10pts gone"

which seems to be rather funny to him..coz he laughed..(-_-")

anyway, i went thru my circuit test swee swee --- no demerit pts!! i'm damn surprise can..coz i only hv 1 n half circuit lesson be4 dis 2nd attempt, n i kana stuck @ reverse parkin..coz i totally forgot which pt to turn..but i think de tester is kind enough to ignore my little mistakes..haha

on de road is where my demerits pts came in..i hv a slight prob wif turning..i tend to do a wide n sharp turn..my agar-ration sux lah..n also delay in movin off..but dat's it..only a total of 6pts!! heez

oh..muz thx piggy ker for sendin me to de BBDC dis mornin..n also back home..oh..to be precised, i sent myself home..haha..coz he let me drive back..de moment i got my temporary licence..heez..not bad lah hor piggy..though he got a little scared @ my turnings..haha..

my family got very excited abt my passing..becoz dis means dat all of us hv licence!! yes..even my mum, though she dun even koe how to start de engine now..haha..

oh ya..met up wif piggy after work to "celebrate"..cant decide where to eat so ended up in IMM's BK..n see wat we had:

yessss...see de diff in de size..terrible..haha..n for de record, de smaller one is mine lah..piggy also got a shock when he saw his burger..in de end, he has to forsake his burger bun coz it's too filling le..haha..

k..time to watch abit of 小猪show be4 i zzz..damn tired coz i din manage to zzz much de whole of last nite..too nervous abt de test liao..but all is over now!! wahaha!! =)

i finally got it!!!!!!! haha..after long periods of searchin high n low for it, i finally managed to get a copy of my darling's book!!!!

i went to Kino to try to search for dis bk ytd be4 meetin up wif my ACCA frenz but there's none of it..not surprising though, since de bk was published like a few yrs ago, de time when i hardly tk a glance at him even when some of his variety shows were screened here..haha..but i 很不死心..so tdy after dinner wif Qiang, i try my luck again..n heng heng let me found it!!! there's 2 copies of dis, de 台湾繁体版 and the 中国简体版..i got de last 简体版..i can also read 繁体 one, but 简体 will be easier, of coz..anyway, de bottom line is:

I'M SO DAMN HAPPY RIGHT NOW!!! wahahaha...

okie..enough abt de book..caught "Click" wif Qiang juz now..

de movie is damn nice..i'll give 4 stars for it..a real touching comedy, n towards de endin, my tears juz flow freely..cant even control it..luckily de theatre is dark enough..haha..Adam Sandler did a great job, n Kate Beckinsale is such a babe!!! she simply manage to look gorgeous thru out de whole movie!!! a muz-watch movie for de mth!!!

This is de must-go place whenever we went to Malacca for holiday..de food is great, n a tad spicy for me, but i still luv it..we ordered a total of 7 dishes --- their famous Curry Debal Chicken, Baked Fish, Fried Squid ( Calamari ), Curry Pineapple Prawn, Black Pepper Crab, Chilli La-la & Sambal Kang Kong..my fav are the prawn n squid ( although i'm not a big fan of sotongs..haha )..nice nice..slurps~~

ok..now time for my story on my 1st surgery in 21+ yrs of my life..haha..sound serious..juz a narration of wat i've gone thru..it doesn't hurt wat to expect if u r de next one goin for de extraction..wahahaha

My original appointment date n time is @ de Alexandra Hospital at 9.30am..but due to unforeseen circumstances, my assigned dental surgeon Dr Wu ( was initially told dat she's a very gd one ) wasn't able to perform de extraction for me..so it was changed to 11.30am de same day, but den i recived another call from them informin me dat de surgeon was unable to make it..so de final appointment was set @ 3pm de same day, by another surgeon Dr Hur..all well..all i want is to get my wisdom tooth out..n dunno for wat reason, my wisdom teeth on my left began hurtin de night be4 de surgery..mayb they r protestin against de operation..wahaha..我想太多了..haha..

met up wif my mum @ de Alexandra Market for my last decent meal ( well..at least for de next 2 wks or so )..haha..had a big bowl of my all-time fav prawn mee ( de one where u can add de chilli powder )..after dat we walked to de hospital to register some stuff 1st..

@ abt 2.45pm de dental assistant took my blood pressure n stuff..@ dis pt i was beginin to feel nervous..cant blame ma..de 1st time goin under de knife k..literally..haha..anyway, i was ursherd into de surgery room n made to lie on de rather small surgery bed..it's really quite small, coz there's hardly place for me to place my arms straight..n i'm not dat 宽 also k..haha..

@ 3pm sharp, Dr Hur came in n i'm surpised @ how young she is..mayb ard my sis' age..she's rather friendly, greetin me n explanin de procedures on how de surgery will go abt..she also ask if i mind if she's operatin on me instead of Dr Wu..of coz i say i dun mind lah..wat de heck can i do wif me already lying like a dead fish on de bed?? wahaha..i koe she's juz doin de routine stuff, but dat's wat i think lah..

she gave me a bitter cream to bite on de wisdom teeth on my left for a few mins or so in order to numb de gums abit..n de surgery began..her assistant covered my whole face wif some shhets/cloths, leavin an opening for my mouth..@ dis pt i really laugh out, coz it makes me feel dat i was goin for some major operation ( like those in de tv shows ) rather den a simple extraction..haha..anyway, Dr Hur proceed to give me an injection on both upper n lower gums where de teeth r to further numb it..she did abit of checking here n there n gave me a 2nd round of injection @ de same places..she informed me dat she's goin to tk my upper tooth out 1st n i shouldn't feel pain, only pressure..true to her words i only felt pressure, huge though, like somethin pullin against my tooth..de top one came off easily without much work, but she told me dat it's abit decay coz i din manage to brush properly as it's too inside liao..

now comes de bigger job..my lower left wisdom tooth is de main culprit to my recent dental pain as there's not enough space to grow n it resulted it growing abt 45degress towards my left cheek..Dr Hur began workin on it, n soon she find out dat dis tooth is too stubborn..so guess wat she told me?

"Ms Wu, I'm goin to cut the tooth in order for me to extract the whole thing"

so de next thing i heard is de sound of those drilling machine dat de construction workers use @ de worksite n felt it workin in my mouth..it sounds rather uncomfortable, n i recall wat de previous dentist who did de X-ray on me asked,

"Are you scare of drilling sounds in de dental surgery room"?

no wonder lah..at dat time i wonder wat de drilling has to do wif tkin out my tooth...haha..

after much drillin done in my mouth n de pressure of removin de tooth, she finally say de words dat i've been waitin for,

"Ms Wu, the tooth hv been removed..we r now cleanin up de area"

u cant imagine how relieved i felt @ de pt..de 1st part's finally over!!! de 2nd part is of coz de aftermath of de surgery.. (-_-")

i was den taken to de recovery room to rest, but i felt surprising well..juz abit of swelling on de left side of my face due to de injections..i was restless waitin there so i went out to my mum, who's waitin for me @ de waiting area..i cant even tok to mum n gesture to her wat de surgeon did to me..haha..den de assistant called me n asked me not to wander abt..haha..felt like a kid @ dat pt --- being scolded for not following instruction..not dat she scolded me..de assistants there r all rather friendly..after restin for some time, de assistant took my blood pressure n checked on my bleedin..seein everythin was ok, she inform me dat i can go home..after settlin some stuff like de next appt dat n medical leave, i was free to go after collecting my medicine!!!

dad came to pick us up n i show him my wisdom teeth, or rather pieces of it:

Dr Hur told me to expect some pain 2 hr after de surgery, when de anaesthetic wears off..but surprisingly, i was feelin ok after 4 hrs..minimal pain, juz a bit of swellin n bleedin of de raw gums when i rinse me mouth after dinner..no pain when i zzz, n incidents of blood droolin from de side of mouth when u zzz on ur side did not happen to me..instead, i looked even better de next day..de swelling has gone down, n de bleedin stopped..haha..guess i'm de lucky few..thx to GuanYin for dat..heez

my breakfast, lunch n dinner..de small bowl of soup is a plus for dinner..haha..

urs truely taken ytd nite..no swellin rite..look de same, pretty as usual..wahaha..juz kidding =P

been slackin @ home for de past 2 days..did nothin but went online to search for 大帅哥---小猪罗志祥 video to watch..as i always say, he's my only entertainment dis days..haha

oh..i need ur help, my dears..please go to dis website YesAsia to see if there's anythin u wanna get..i had been searchin for 罗志祥 book for some time n finally found it @ de website..de book cost abt US$18 ( SGD$29 ) excluding shippin costs which total to abt SGD$14plus..de gd thing is dat the shippin costs will b waived off if there's a min purchase of US$25..there's nothin else i wanna get for de time being, n personally paying abt SGD$40+ for a book seems expensive..so if there's anythin u wanna get pls tell me k..gettin in bulk is cheaper, needless to say..

juz for the record, went to Port Dickson & Malacca the previous weekend with family for a short short holiday..Isn't any fun thing to do there, especially at Port Dickson as it's mainly resorts and stuff over there.. For my family, our main leisure is good food hunting..wahaha..

anyway, will post up the few patheic pix i took with my Hp soon..nothing much though..because my hp has a lousy camera..haha..

will be plucking out 2 of my wisdom tooth later in the afternoon..think i'll start looking like a pig head at about 5plus onwards..wish me well!!

yess..i'm bloggin again..so soon...

on my dad's laptop though..coz de horrible thunderstorm blew up my cpu power box ytd night..shucks..gotta bring for repair tmr..thx piggy for helpin me check juz now..heez

anyway, had my appointment wif de dentist in de afternoon..went for an x-ray (which lasted less den a min ) n they hv de whole pix of my teeth out in less den 1 few mins..everythin so fast now..haha..tot need to wait for an hr or so..

anyway, de dentist showed me de x-ray of my "wonderful" teeth, n guess wat? de gd news is dat --- i'm right!! all 4 wisdom teeth r out..from de pix they seem no diff from my other teeth..n i think my teeth looks nicer in de x-ray rather in real (-_-")

now..de bad news is dat i would hv to pluck all 4 out..actually, i can leave my 2 upper wisdom tooth alone, but de dentist warned dat i might hv decay in de surroundin teeth caused by them in future yrs due to food trap n blah blah blah..n i already hv a few decay teeth liao due to my boh-chapness during my younger yrs..i dun need to add on to my collection..ai yo..so wat to do? i agree to pluck out all 4 lor..but 2 @ 1 go lah..if not i dun hv to eat for @ least a wk or so le..

guess wat did i juz do?

i counted the total number of teeth i have!!! haha..not dat i'm too bo liao or wat..it's juz dat i'm havin teeth probs dis few wks..a mere visit to de dentist abt a mth ago shows dat i hv a gum infection, PLUS wisdom tooth eruptin, or rather had erupted..thinkin dat some antibiotics can cure everythin, i decided to forgo a supposed dental appointment to hv an X-ray on my teeth..so guess wat happens when u ignore de dentist's callin?

terrible plus bearly endurable pain...

all caused by de harmless looking wisdom tooth..

no..wisdom teeth..dat brings me back to my 1st qn..

i hv a total of 32 teeth..does it sounds abnormal? i'm not exactly sure how many teeth a normal person will hv, but according to my colleague ( who coincidentally hv his wisdom tooth plucked out back in his amry days..lucky him ), 28 shld b de normal number..

which means i hv a total of 4 wisdom tooth!!!

piggy mentions dat very seldom pple got so heng to get all 4 growing out from de 4 sides, but guess i'm juz one of de "heng" ones..unless my counting got prob lah...

now..let's count..from hearsay, extraction of 1 wisdom tooth will cost abt 500bucks..so wat abt 4??? my dad's gonna kill me..coz i also need him to sponser me for my revision driving lessons..all dis within dis few wks..si liao lah..dat's y i say my colleague lucky..in NS, all dis medical stuff sponsered by govt..he only need to pay a 30bucks admin fee or somethin like dat (-_-")

ytd's was the last day for the NTU undergraduates doin attachment wif us..so as a farewell gesture, dad treated de whole company lunch..n since we r all lazy to go out makan, we had KFC & Canadian Pizza delivery!!!

caught Pirates of the Caribbean : Dead Man's Chest after work ytd wif Qiang..be4 i get into de movie, i muz complain abt Lido's theatre ah!! for de 1st time in my life, i experience watchin thru de whole movie which kanna hang abt 5 to 6 times..dis happens even be4 de movie starts screening..@ 1st tot it's juz a small hiccup somewhere, but den it happens abt 3 times be4 de movie starts..i think dis kinda piss some of de audiences coz they walked out of de theatre after de 3rd time..also, for de 1st 1 quarter of de movie, there's delay between de movie n de sound system..meaning dat de movie shows de actors speakin like abt a word later den wat is played out thru de system..n thru out de movie, it hang abt another 2 times or so..dis causes abt another dozens of pple stalkin out, probably demandin a refund..for me n Qiang, we cant b bothered lah..juz sit n watch lor..haha..

anyway, de movie's quite alright..although i do prefer de part 1 more..mayb becoz i kinda forget some of Part 1 story plot..so abit hard to link to dis sequel..but was a nice show overall..n Keira Knightly looks abit diff in dis sequel..hmm..kinda like more boyish or somethin like dat..feels dat she looked prettier in Part 1..but well..she's still de prettiest in de show lah..esp when compared to de witch..ok..wun go into de details abt de show..in case some of u wanna watch..

been really long since i last updated..

not dat i'm lazy lor..really..my internet's givin me problems..i think my wireless adapter juz blew up or somethin like dat..there's no green light at all..so i change de adapter but de current one is havin trouble with de signal strength..so everyday n can only me online for abt 3mins de max..(-_-")

anyway, juz a quick update..finished my last paper abt 3 wks ago..think dis paper got abit of hope..really muz pray hard for dis paper to clear..if not like always stuck at de 2nd level....

n i finally got my wisdom tooth!!! well..teeth to b exact..1 growing out from both side of my lower set of teeth..how do i koe? coz i finally went to de dentist for de 1st time since my lower sec yrs..yes..u can count de years..haha..anyway, i went to de dentist becoz de left side of my lower set of teeth is killing me..but in de end, de dentist say de bigger prob is due to de wisdom tooth growing @ de right..which probably need to be pluck out..so he refer me to Alexandra Hospital for X-ray --- de very place where my sis got hers extracted n looked like a pig head for a wk due to de swelling..well..dat's was abt 2 wks ago..n i haven called Alexandra for an appointment..it's not becoz i'm scare, but i simply hv no time..NO TIME!!!!

ytd's my fren's weddin, which is also de 1st time i play de part of Jie Meis..haha..reached her house @ abt 5.25am, thx to piggy for sendin me there..will treat u a meal k..haha

surprisingly, i was de 1st Jie Mei to reach there..de others all arrived at @ 5.45am..it was abit disorganised in de morning n we did not even plan on how to tease de bridegroom n his Xiong Dis..everythin was quite last min..my dear fren S.L, who's de bride was so nervous n tense up dat she cant really b bothered abt de whole thingy..luckily, we managed to make do with watever stuff she has in her house as de "punishment" for de guys..overall, everythin was quite well-planned, thx to de groom's Xiong Dis..they hv everythin organised properly, like wat time to go to de groom's house n back n to tk pix n to hotel, n for de wedding dinner from de rehearsal n reception all done nicely..whereas we Jie Meis r like juz waitin for instructions..haha..

anyway, my fren's look real beautiful ytd..n her gowns r gorgeous..de only thingy is dat we Jie Meis ( me most of de time ) hv a hard time helpin her to carry her gown n dat can-can..haha..i was de one helpin her to carry her gown for most of de morning..so as a reward for my hard work, my job was to accompany de bride for de period ne4 de March-in n to help her change her gowns in between dishes..all de reception n other thingy r done by de other Xiong Dis Jie Meis..

it was a successful wedding event overall..i like my fren's hubby as he's quite outspoken n easy going..n we ( me n huiqin ) get along quite ok wif a few of his Xiong Dis, even though it's de 1st time we met..n i think 1 of them is hitting on to Huiqin..wahaha..damn funny..

wow...been more den 2 wks since i last blogged..haha..too busy & LAZY to do so..heez..

went for my 1st ride wif piggy a wk ago..haha..we were out shoppin on a nice wkend when he came up wif de idea of sendin me home..as in in his 1st drive alone since gettin his licence..haha..i muz admit his drivin is quite stable sia..mayb becoz it's auto lah..i also get to drive a few rounds around my neighbourhood..haha..was fun..

met up wif piggy again last thu for dinner..he drove again..haha..1 of his 1st few times out alone drivin..he pick me up @ CCK as i was out auditin, n got abit lost while tryin to figure de way to JP..haha..but he made it there eventually..wat an achievement!! wahaha..i get de chance to drive abit in de parkin lot, learnin to park without de poles dat r available while we were learnin..haha..instant failure..heez..but was fun afterall..

anyway, meet up wif S05 usual peeps on sat..had a nice dinner @ NYDC be4 rushin to Taka to get a mummy's day present..Mw n moi each got a box of Long Biao Yan Wo be4 we headed to Coffee Club for a chill out session..was fun meetin up coz we haven been keepin in touch dat often nowadays..haiz..wat to do..we aren't in JC anymore; all r leadin diff lives..but still catchin up once in a while is nice..n gd for my health..literally..coz if not i'll b too engrossed in my audit work..n my Xiao Zhu shows..wahahaha

oh ya..i had a dream last nite..i was out havin dinner wif my family, includin my sis ( which is weird coz she's still in HK ) @ some foodcourt..sis asked me to help her get a cup of tea from some drinks stall..so i went to place an order..there was no one there while i was placin my order, but all of a sudden de person attendin to me got busy wif other customers who appear out of nowhere..n de other customers manage to get their beverages be4 me..my sis came over @ dis pt of time n i was gettin pissed for waitin so long..de staff den asked me to re-place my order n after some more waitin i finally get dat pathetic cup of tea..i asked for de price n he told me dat it costs $4.30..i din koe wat i was doin but i paid him$1..30 instead be4 walkin away..he told me dat it's not enough but i shouted somethin like " u expect me to pay $4.30 for a cup of tea n after waitin so long" be4 i was jolted awake by my stupid alarm..

so wat's de moral of de story? haha..i actually wanted my mum to help me buy 4D one..for 0430 & 0130..i-bet lah..juz wanna try my luck..but it happens dat my mum went to de polyclinic for checkup so i din manage to tok to her..i forgo all abt dis thingy until juz now while i was havin dinner wif her..i asked her whether dis number 0430 came up..n guess wat? it did..starters or consolation..i-bet lah..but i din buy!!!

juz came back from my Cameron + Genting trip wif my family n relatives..de traffic jam @ de causeway was terrible..kana stuck for abt 2 hrs even though we used de 2nd Causeway..spent 3 days in Malaysia..well..to b precise, we spent about an entire day travelling to n fro..de vacation was a bit rush, but nevertheless it gave me de much needed break from my never-ending audit work..

haha..juz a short one be4 i start on my Money-Lending accounts..

went to JB tdy wif my family..went to this new Giant @ Pasur Gadung or somethin like dat..n new as in it's our 1st time there..anyway, de main thing is dat as we were leavin de supermarket, we pass by a mini pet shop n saw dis:

side track abit..i happened to hv a little confrontation wif a lizard juz last wk..yes..a lizard..n for those who koe me well shld koe dat i have..erm..a kinda phobia for lizards..n dis one is happily runnin abt along de walls of my room..so de only way i can zzz dat very nite is to get rid of it..after mustering all my courage, i armed myself wif a clothes hanger n climb up my beside table, aimed carefully @ de lizard n began hammerin it wif all my strength!!

but i think i abit "par jiao"..instead of flattenin it, it's tail came off n fell to de floor wif a "piak"..i was very curious den abt de "fallen tail"..so i began observin de wriggling tail for abt few minutes..n to my surprise, it was still movin after all dis time..so i decided to do a little experiment; i, again armed wif my hanger, "chop" de tail into 2..n it's still wriggling!!!

now now..it's time to see de result of my experiment:

see the thingy in de circles? yes..dat's de result of my experiment..haha..nice hur..n for ur info, dis 2 thingy is still movin for at least another few mins or so..very disgusting, but yet amazing rite? anyway, for de record, i use abt half a dozen of toilet papers to "shou shi can ju" n flush them down de toliet bowl..but de longer 1 refuse to "die" so easily; i hv to flush de twice be4 it finally disappear from my sight..yucks..

haha..think sidetrack le..back to Shu Fen's bday..was suppose to meet de usual sec sch clique 5.30pm @ Heeren for dinner..but i met up wif piggy 1st ( as usual..haha ) at abt noon since i need to get some DVD-Rs from sim lim..by de time we reach orchard, it's abt 4pm le..so we spent de next 1 n half hr roamin ard Wisma & Taka..meet up wif Limin n her sis @ taka since they were there shoppin too..din manage to get any nice top leh..no money to buy also..coz de mth of Mar is de mth of present-spendin..haha..nvm lah..i luv u dears alot so it's ok =)

yes..i'm bloggin again!!! coz i'm dateless tonite.........haha..it's gd to stay home for once on a friday..moreover, i kena de flu virus dis days..n wat's flu without sore throat as well? n my da yi ma choose to come for a visit dis wk too..i tot i was gettin better but yesterday nite i realise i even cough out blood!!! no joke..but think dat's de result of my constant "huurrrr----hemmmmm-ing".....

but i'm definitely feelin better now..as least i can still manage to sing my dear's " shake it mama shake it mama"...wahahaha

anyway, i watched dis last friday!!!

caught dis wif JQ..actually dis movie was never in my "muz watch" list..but he tried to pyscho me to watch for 2 wks so in de end i ok lor..not i payin anyway..haha

anyway, i was sayin dat i initially did not wan to watch dis movie coz it seems abit too chim for my understanding..i mean, u see de poster like very ang mo pai rite..n i tot it's all abt mountain n sea n mayb a few guys..dat's all..de only thing i koe abt dis is dat Ang Lee directed it n is de 1st chinese to win an Oscar ( i think so )..

so when we got de tix i was surprise to see dat it was rated R21..i wondered wat kind of violence will there b in such a seemingly secnic movie..n so i realise dat it's not abt violence; it's abt de love between 2 cowboys..haha..there's a scene where they show them havin sex for de 1st time in de middle of de nite!!! not literally show de whole process lah..but enough to make me feel..erm..abit disgusted..coz i've never seen 2 guys behavin so intimately..oh except for JJ & LUTHER lah..wahahaha

ok..juz kiddin..

de movie was draggy too..it went thru abt 30 yrs of their love n abt how they spent their life..how they got married n hv kids although all de while de guys heart r wif one another..most of de part was rather borin except for a few scenes where they show de 2 guys kissin n stuff..i guess dat's de most interestin parts bah..haha..but i muz say i did get touched by de intensity of their love for each other..overall, i would say it's a gd movie, albeit a tad too long..

well..i guess dat's de most happenin thing i hv done dis few wks..yes..my life is really dat boring now..so save me, my dear frenz!!!!!!!!!!!

ok lah..it's gd in a way too..coz at least by goin out less i can save more money..haha..i wan a new CPU!!! my cousin promise to help me build one my gettin de "wu eh bo" parts from sim lim since he koe de pple there..BUT dat's wat he told me since CNY...tsk tsk tsk...

9th Feb, Thursday

set off from my house at 5plus in de mornin..did de whole travellin thingy n managed to reach HK only at ard 4plus to 5 pm..checked into one of de hotels at Jordan or Tsim Sha Tsui..haha..dun really rem..waited for sis to finish work be4 we met up for dinner n dessert @ one of de makan stores opposite de hotel..took a nice strol after dat be4 callin it a day..oh ya..de weather is damn nice man..ard 16-18 degrees when we reached there..din perspire at all thru out de 5 days there..how i wish de weather here is like dat......

10 feb, Friday

went to Lippo Centre at Admiralty coz dad wanna apply for CPA in HK..had breakfast there as well..i luv de sandwiches in HK..damn nice..dunno how they made de bread but it's juz fantastic..juz realise dat i did complain abt de food in HK bein a tad bland when i went there last jun/jul..mayb i'm gettin used to their food now..haha..

met up wif my sis ard noon n we set off to GuangZhou!!! took de KCR to Lo Wo be4 boardin de train to Guangzhou/guangdong..haha..watever..de train journey only took abt 1 plus hr..muz faster den i expected..once we reached there, proceed to tk a cab to our hotel..i find de cabs in GZ amusing..u will feel as if u r in jail when u sit at de back of de cab..they literally hv de steel poles between de driver n back passenger..n they only allow woman or child to sit in front for fear of being robbed..but come to think of it, cant a woman b a robber too? esp if it's a big sized lady..haha

checked into our hotel be4 headin out to one of de nearby famous seafood restaurant for dinner..ordered mountians of food as usual..n dat's one shark fin soup..but i din really like it..de geng1 taste abit weird.......

after dinner we took a stroll down d famous Pearl River be4 boardin de ship for a tour along de river..it's freezin @ de deck of de ship!!! but i luv it..nice to enjoy such cool breeze wif family..haha..there r a total of 7 bridges along de river but we only bypass 5 of it..still, it's a very beautiful sight..though my photography skills sux big time..haha

had breakfast at de hotel's restuarant..de food's ok but de service is..erm..overwhelming or wat's de word? i mean, there's a total of abt 3 to 4 pple servin us whenever a new dish arrived..n they r very strict abt how they serve de food..for eg, de one bringin de food out from de kitchen cannot serve de dish to our table..he/she muz wait for a manager or watever to serve it to us..juz imagine when de manager is busy wif other stuff, de poor waiter hv to stand beside our table n wait for a manager to serve de food..n POOR us for only being able to stare @ de food but not able to bite into it..dat's de real example of " so near yet so far"............(-_-")

had some snacks @ one of de coffebean-style cafe near our hotel be4 checkin out n headin back to de train station..reached HK ard late afternoon n checked into one of de hotels juz at de ferry terminal building..n de roomis quite nice..we were given executive suites, n dis is considered quite big compared to de standard HK hotel room size..nice nice..

strolled down de streets of Tsim Sha Tsui n at de same time searchin for de way to my Biao Yi's shop..she brought us to her shop n it's so small dat ard 4 pple wif my size can only fit in..dat's becoz de rental of one shop in HK is so damn ex, even more so in Tsim Sha Tsui..chatted wif her for a ehile be4 we headed back to our hotel..

de same street dat we went de evening be4..saw dis huge bunch of policemen there...dunno for wat..n dat's my parents buyin their fav food: roasted duck n char siew..haha

dad decided to tk us to The Peak to hv a look since i've never been there be4..de bus journey up can make me vomit man..turn n turn n turn n de way de bus driver handles de wheels can give me heart attack..he thinks he's actin in Initial D: part 2..(-_-")

met up wif my sis after dat n we went to de famous Da Yu Shan..erm..i think dat's de name..de bus journey there also took ages..but it was worth it..de Buddha statue is amazing..n i managed to tk a pix of it wif de sun behind..haha..nice!!! n dat'd our soya bean curd..very famous there..but a bit too sweet for my likin.....

how did u guys spend ur day? i spent almost half a day packin my room..to b precise, i spent my time stuffin all my thingy into any available space in my cupboards..wahaha..at least it's more presentable now..gave my dear doggie a gd bath too..smell so gd now..haha

anyway, dis yr reunion dinner is a tad different..mummy din cook; we decided to eat out instead..save her de trouble of cookin for 2 days in a row..made a reservation for dinner @ one of de Chinese Restaurant @ Tiong Bahru Plaza a few wks back...

I'm back!!!

wow..been 2 wks since i last blog..n dis will b my 1st post in Yr 2006!!! haha..gettin lazy but most imptly is becoz i'm really busy in dis new yr..some of u koe y..haizzzz...

okie..a quick post on Limin's 21st!!!!

celebrated min min's 21st on 29/12/05..dat's her actual bday by de way..had a simple but nice dinner @ PS's Manhatten Fish Market or somethin like dat..haha..it's actually another type of makan place like Fish & Co..de food is abt de same, to me at least..anyway, de 6 of us za bos share 3 Flaming Seafood Platter for 2 ( or somethin like dat ) while our piggy had a Fish & Chips by himself..min min's treat =) ..eat until damn full ah..*burp*

we went to Carrefour to shop abit be4 headin to Starbucks to chill out..time for prezzies!! ali presented de Fossil watch we ( ali, piggy & moi ) bought for her..she likes it, thank goodness!!! now de 3 of us za bos owns a Fossil watch..left piggy only..din tot of buyin him a watch on his 21st..mayb becoz he seldom wears one lor..haha..dun blame us hor piggy.. =P

okie..time for an update on me!!! i finally went to straighten my hair last sat!!! yippie!!!! not rebondin..it's actually known as soft straight..de effect is dat it wun result in my hair lookin like a waterfall..erm..u koe lah..too straight lah..it's more natural..de most imp thingy is dat i no longer had to use my straightener every mornin to clamp my hair le!!! woohoo!!! dis means i save abt 5 to 10mins of my time while preparin for work lah..which means i can get another extra10mins of beauty zzz everyday..wahahaa..luv my hair now!!! =)

but de process of gettin it done is terrible..had to sit in de salon for abt 4plus hrs..sit until but numb le..haha..anyway, did some shoppin after dat wif min & piggy..manage to get 2 tops: a simple pink polo-like tee & a simple purple victorian-style blouse..wanna get all my cny shoppin done on de same day but was too tired le..oh well..mayb one of dis wkend go n hunt for another top or wat lah..

wanna blog abt some stuff dat happen in de office too..i was damn pissed off when i realise dat 2 of de staff tender their resignation dis wk..we were all shock dat they resign..ok..we expected dat comin from de 23 yr old malaysian ger..she had initially asked my dad to help her apply for a PR last fri..my dad, being suspicious of her intention, agree to do so if only she would sign a contract to bind herself for at least another yr..she say she will consider, but handed in her resignation instead dis wed....

as for de 36 yr old guy, he handed in his resignation on mon..dad had a long talk wif him, n realise is becoz of de financial aspect..so dad decided to give him an offer as an audit supervisor, but stated dat he too hv to bind himself to de company for another yr..he say he will consider, but handed in his resignation letter on wed.....

it doesn't tk a genius to understand dat both of them had planned all dis way be4 hand..not only them, but we suspect de remainin 2 audit staff too..come to think of it, they had been havin all dis small meetings last yr, but they shut up whenever my bro, aunt or myself walk pass them..in dis field, we kinda expected high labour turnover..but not dis fast.......they only had worked in de Co. for a yr, n they feel dat they hv learnt enough..come on..r they really dat niave or wat?? if everyone thinks de same way, den every ah mao ah gou can b an accountant or any professional liao..n to think they r totally clueless abt how an audit shld b carried out when they 1st started out..

all r bastards..idiots..if they really wanna resign, y dun they do so last yr? becoz they all wanna get their 13th mth bonus be4 sayin byebye..i never understand y my dad was so angry over his staff resignin last time when i was younger..i mean, pple come pple go mah..if they resigh den employ new pple lor..but i finally understand since i've been workin in de office fulltime for more den half a yr le..in our field, our peak season is from late jan all de way to mid aug or so..n to think dat de ingrate idiots choose to resign @ dis time..i even if we manage to employ sufficient pple they still need to b train n time to familiarise themselves wif de audit process..it's not as easy as it seems..i koe it because i've 1st hand experience..haizz....

there's no longer time for me to indulge myself in my own world le..hv to face de harsh & stressful workin world le..how i envy my frenz who r still doin fulltime schooling..how i wish i can turn back time n to go thru sch life again..haiz....

it's goin to b a damn stressful yr for me..n it doesn't help dat i'll b tkin my final stage of ACCA dis yr..no time to play le..sianz ah!!!

anyway, on a happier note, WeiLian's album's out!!!

haha..had to ask piggy to help me get it coz no time to buy..it has only 4 new songs for him, which i'm kinda disappointed in..i expected more actually..n a few renditions of de songs he sang in PSS r included..i like most of them, but i feel dat some of de songs he actually did better when he sings live..de album's quite ok overall..nvm lah..i luv his vocal can liao..haha

It's Geraldine's 21st bday celebration at The Chevrons - Banyan chalet!!! Mingwei went to HK to happy happy while my other fren, Martina was unable to go as her Grandma was hospitalised..so in the end i went wif MeiJing only..met up wif her at Jurong East popular be4 tkin de shuttle bus to Chevrons..reached there @ abt 7plus although her party officially starts @ 6.30pm..bo bian lah since i only end work @ 6pm..din mean to b late..haha..

anyway, we headed st to de makan area once we greet de host n pass her de present..haha..was feelin damn hungry..oh..de poor ger had her eyes swollen on her big day!! how suay is dat?!! apparently she had a strange on-off allergy to panadol ( we learnt dat from Teck Siong, aka her god-brother )..she took some of it in de afternoon as she had kinda a headache or somethin like dat..but she looked better after dat..mayb de make-up helps..at least she looks pretty on her big day!! =)

de food was quite nice ah..haha..i like de noodle n de tofu wif de gravy..n also de chicken satay..haha..practically all de stuff..although i took very little only..gotta leave so stomach for de cake mah..haha..oh..forgot to tk pix as i was busy tokin to Meijing..heez..ok..time for de pix!!

okie..another group came over to our table once Andrew & his fren went inside de chalet..all r from PJCs, although i din realise dat initially..i din even notice Aylwin ( de one beside me ), who's my pri sch classmate & JC sch mate..cant blame me lah..was busy listenin to Meijing's interesting story..wahaha ( ger ah..if u r readin this, dun whack me hor..haha.. )..anyway, most of de guys recognise us..de one beside Meijing ( i forget his name..haha ) say i got a unique face, dat's y he rem me..so i hv a Da Zhong Nian..haha..overall, had a nice chat wif some of them..

after de cake cutting we stayed awhile to chat n tk pix be4 rushin to catch de las bus home..MeiJing & I took de shuttle bus back to Jurong wif Andrew & his fren..Andrew's fren took de mrt n MeiJing rush off to ctach er bus..so left me n Andrew n he insisted on sendin me to my bus quene..n den i realise dat my last bus had left!!! wtf..he lived @ Clementi area so he suggested me tkin de bus wif him back to Clementi 1st..but i took de mrt instead coz rushin to tk de last bus from clementi..so he pei wo walk all de way back to de mrt station..i was abit surprised @ his gentleman-ness ( is there a such a word? ) but overall he's a nice acquaintance..haha

met up wif cal, ali, piggy, lu & jj after work @ orchard to shop for min's bday present..i was initally abit pissed off lah..u see, ali msged me while i was on my way there to meet up @ taka..so when i alighted @ Lucky Plaza n walked towards Wisma, i sms her again as i cant get thru her line..dunno y also..so she asked me to look for them @ taka dept store level 1 ( u koe de place where they sells perfumes, make-ups n stuff )..i made my way there, unable to find them so call her again..den she told me she mistaken de place n that they will @ de delifrance area instead..i was feelin quite tired @ dat pt of time..due to work stress ( somethin happen in office earlier on ) n de crowd so i was abit piss off..de feelin is like i was like bein "shua" lor..i koe they din do it intentionally..i mean everyone's busy shoppin for xmas presents n stuff so "nan mian" will go ard lah..but u koe lah..@ dat pt din thik too much mah..so when they meet up wif me my face was like Bao Gong..wahahaha..so now juz wanna tell u gers dat i'm usually very "he san" one n not so petty lah..wahaha..muz endure my short-temper-ness coz i'm easily stressed due to work..

anyway, i got over my sucky mood quite fast n started discussin abt dinner..i was cravin for de wanton mee from Crystal Jade Kitchen but when lulu came back wif de quene number 94 ( de current queue no is only 30plus!! ), we decided to makan @ de dunno wat Central Restaurant @ taka..i was curious abt their Zhao Pai Cai --- Durian Fried Rice so i decided on dat..but de food turn out to b abit disappointing..it's not awful, but it juz taste like very normal fried rice, n only at some bites i was able to taste abit of durian..(-_-")..i was more into lulu's crispy noddle wif black pepper chicken..haha..i like de baked chese in ali's seafood baked cheese rice or somethin like dat..so my Verdict is: dun order their Durian Fried Rice if u ever go there!!!

after dinner we started helpin lulu to shop for his xmas presents for his sis & god-sis..took quite some time becoz de gifts r either over his budgets or aren't to his taste..after he finally decided on de presents, we headed towards Heeren to cont shopping..but we took abt more den half an hr to reach there, becoz it's time to tk pix!!!!!!!!!!! haha

nothin much..no intention to celebrate or stuff..stayed home n watched de recorded Bai Fen Bai ( got my Xiao Zhu!! luv him!! heez ), slacked abit, do abit of house chores ( ok..dun b surprised ) etc..de thunder & lightning in de afternoon was terible, n as a result my house kana shortcircuit..so spent de next hr or so tryin to figure out wif socket was faulty..went to wash up n time for dinner!!

after dinner we headed to dad's office to do some stuff..i brought back some work to do over de holidays..haiz..i'm usually not so hardworkin lah..but dis particular client is very de _____..so bo bian lah..how nice to b workin at home durin de holiday (-_-")

on 3/12/05, ali n her bf came ard 1230pm to pick me n piggy from my house be4 driving down to Orchid CC to decorate de function rooms for my party whereby min will b meetin us there..was suppose to tk our on sweet time to plan n decorate, but only when we reached there dat i realise dat one of my rooms r being used for some of de staff meeting or something like dat, which will only end @ abt 5pm..my party's goin to stat at 7pm..definitely not enough time to do as planned since i also need time to change n stuff..was feelin abit panicky be4 we decided to start doin de balloons 1st..den de 2nd "Zhuang Kuang" --- piggy forgot to bring de balloons!! haha..i din koe how to react @ dat moment..think most prob i was goin to strangle him..haha..but he called his dad n his very nice dad promise to bring de balloons over..from bt timah to yishun area..dat's how nice..took abt 2 hrs plus to finish de balloons n stuff, mostly thx to piggy ( for his incredible lung power..haha ) & ali's bf..think we 3 gers had more fun "di xiao-ing" them..

oh ya..my cake arrived at abt 1plus n me & piggy had a hard time lookin for a place to store it..i was damn pissed off at dat time..initially i asked de reception staff for de storage of de cake n they ask me to go to place A..but when i asked de staff @ place A again for de storage thingy, they same they dun hv enough space..but they agree to help me asked de banquet dept..in de end we gotta carry de cake back to de reception to pass it over to de banquet side..n to think dat when i enquire de salesperson ( de one who did my bookin of de party n stuff ) abt dis storage of cake thingy, he say they will settle everythin.. (-_-")..ya rite..

@ abt 4plus, we gers decided to get changed n do our make-up..ali's bf went home to change while left piggy to man de room..took abt an hr be4 we r all nicely dolled-up..haha..headed back to de room where i had my hair sraighten by ali..some of my dear frenz started arriving den..they wanted to help wif de decorations in de 2nd function room but since i had already made reservations for a KTV session, so they went for it..de remaining group helped out wif de decorations while i began my role as de host..practically ran to n fro from de KTV room, de shuttle bus alighting area n back to de function rooms..hectic nite!!

I'm finally back!! din abandon dis blog of mine, though a times i'm tempted to..haha..

juz a short entry on wat i've been doin dis days..nothin much, really..after my bday, i practically stayed at home dis one wk plus..gotta pia my revision for exams..my last paper for dis sem juz ended on tue, n i'm back to work tdy..so damn sianz man..as for my exams, i think is "xiong duo ji shao" le..haha..heck care lah..wait until feb den start to kan cheong abit..heez

HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!!

haha..got anyone wish herself happy bday anot? nvm..i b de exceptional one.. =)

Had a great time celebrating my 21st bday with all de special persons in my life..be it my wonderful frenz, lovely cousins n relatives, colleagues and of coz most importantly my family!!! although frankly speakin, i was feelin kinda numb during de few hrs buffet..it's like close to 1 mth of preparation all come to an end in a matter of 3 plus hrs or so..like piggy say: tai shang san fen zhong, tai xia shi nian gong ( or somethin like dat lah..haha )..but when i woke up dis mornin, all de happiness finally sank in..haha..my fan yin abit chi dun lah..

Super Long Post Ever - HK Trip !!

haha..ok..time for my HK trip..loads of pix..but mostly on food n de places i went..surprisingly only a few of moi..haha..enjoy!!

Tuesday, 1st Nov

woke up at 5plus in de morning n left de house abt an hr later..we took de mrt to de airport n after checkin in our luggage had breakfast @ de foodcourt over there..board de plane at abt 9plus n off we go to Macau!!!

reached Macau airport at abt 1pm..we took a cab st to de ferry terminal n proceed to Kowloon..

den we took de KCR train ( which is actually very similar to our own MRT ) from East Tsim Sha Tsui all de way to Lo Wu, which is de KCR station at Shen Zhen..

cleared de customs uneventfully ( yes..i was not stopped by any officers dis time round -_-" ) but was in for a big headache: we cant find our hotel!! managed to find de correct direction to our hotel after askin a few of de pple there..when daddy booked de hotel online, it says it's juz a stone-throw from de Lo Wo station..but we ended walkin for abt 15 mins while draggin our luggage up n down stairs ( yes..stairs..not escalators.......... ) be4 we finally reach de hotel..on our way there, bro was approached by quite a number of hookers or pimps ( i assume lah..but quite obvious actually) askin him if he wanted a hotel room PLUS extra services..i nearly died laughin when i saw de look on his face..wahahahaha..

finally reached de hotel at abt 4plus..can u imagine de time we spent on travellin??!! de 1s day was practically gone..haiz..but at least de hotel is quite nice..de room is, to my surprise, rather big n comfy..nice nice =)

~~ our dinner!!! ~~

naturally we were starvin like mad after travellin for so long..de last meal we had was at changi airport..so de 1st thing we did after checkin into our hotel rooms was to proceed to one of de restaurants juz opp for a sumptous dinner!! but think we overdo it ( again..haha )..ordered too much food liao..had a total of 7 or 8 dishes for de 4 of us..it's not small servings somemore..we ordered a whole Peking roast duck, a medium-size fish n loads of meat!!! n bro commented dat everytime we had a meal, will confirm commit at least 1 of de 7 sins: Gluttony!!

after de sinful BUT delicious dinner, we proceed to de famous Commercial City which is known for de sale of it's imitation of branded goods..de place is rather huge..it's like de size of de Far East Plaza over here, with over 90% of de shops sellin imitations..saw a number of de leather bags, watches, shoes etc..n all of them look so genuine..din bought anythin though becoz heard dat they offer very ridiculous high prices..u hv to b very fierce n determined if u wanna bargain prices with them..haha..dat, will b de job of my sis..wahahaha

my sis will b stayin wif us for de nite but she can only meet up wif us later in de evenin becoz of work..so after wanderin ard for abt an hr, we decided to rest our feet at one of de fast food restaurant..ordered their famous milk tea n hong dou bin..de tea is quite nice..i'm more into their cup actually..it's very unique..was thinkin whether i shld "kop" 1 home..haha..can see i'm very bored lah..tkin random pix..dat's my mum enjoyin her delicious milk tea..haha

my sis finally arrived from Kowloon at abt 9pm..time to shop!! i was plannin to buy a few stuff but i was in for quite a shock..i was amazed by my sis bargainin skills!!! my bro saw a watch dat he likes n after tryin on was plannin to get it..so it's time for sis to go into de bargainin mode..de sales pple offer it for abt RMB800plus ( it's acutally ridiculously high for an imitation ), normally u wun reduced to abt 300 to 400plus rite ( or a max of 200plus )..my sis super power: she quoted RMB100..............wahahaha..de sales pple were of coz shocked n den they went on bargainin..my sis finally offer was RMB180, for de watch n a random belt bucker..they refused n we left de shop..but we only walked a few steps when they called to us wif a final offer of RMB200 for de 2 items..but we still did not buy it in de end as my sis was bent on payin only 180..only a diff of 20 but...........haha..she had her reasons lah..although i wun say i agree to it..suan le..as it was gettin late, we finally went back to our hotel empty handed..but was a nice experience lah..i hv never seen such fierce bargainin be4..wahahaha

Wednesday, 2nd Nov

woke up @ abt 6plus n off we go to Dong Meng..sis wanna bring us to some nice restuarant for dim sum but it was closed!! closed as in Guan Meng Da Ji..so she bought us to dis nearby dim sum restuarant instead..de food is ok only..realised dat food in Shen Zhen is rather oily compare to HK & even S'pore..if i stay there for a longer period confirm put on weight..wait..i'm already fat..so not much difference lah..wahahaha

after dim sum, we went to Shi Jie Zhi Chuang..we took a cab there n i realise dat de drivers in ShenZhen r on de right side..quite surprise coz i tot it will b de same as in HK..haha..ok..Shi Jie Zhi Chuang is a famous attraction in Shen Zhen where u can see de miniature figures n stuff, if i'm not wrong..we din go in, becoz we were runnin out of time n each tix ( plus some tour rides ) cost quite ex..so we juz took some pix outside..dat's my sis & mum in de 3rd pix ( obviously rite )..haha

checked out of our hotel n proceed back to HK via KCR..interchanged to de MTR at Tsim Sha Tsui, changed to another train line at Central n alighted @ Sheung Wan..de whole train journey took us abt an hr..n dat's not it..after we alighted at Sheung Wan station, i tot we can finally tk a rest in our hotel..since my dad was told dat our hotel was abt 2 mins walk away from de station, we begin our journey in search of our hotel, draggin our luggages along..but after abt 5 mins, we realise dat we r..erm..lost..haha..so sis approached some pple for help, n they told us dat our hotel is abt 20plus mins away from where we were.. (-_-")..dunno for wat reason, we decided to walk de whole 20mins there..but we only managed to reach our hotel after half an hr's walk, all de while draggin our luggages behind............ (-_-") (-_-")(-_-")...my feet was like, gone case man.........

after a short rest, dad n bro went to meet some client..which leaves mum, sis n me some free time..so sis n me decided to go to de streets for some makans while mum decided to tk a nap..went to Mannings to buy some stuff ( which is actually Guardian ) 1st be4 sis brought me to dis small shop somewhere near our hotel to makan..we shared a set meal which consists a shark fin soup ( using dong fen ), dumpling & a meat bun which costs only HK10!! de soup's quite nice n i like de bun too( but not de meat..taste weird )..yummy yummy sis also ordered a sweet & sour la mian, which i dun really like lah..tabao 1 set meal for mum too be4 headin back to hotel to zzz..

went out in de evenin to meet up wif my mum's cousin ( Biao Yi )..took de train to Hong Hum station ( where Biao Yi lived )..while waitin for her, me n dad entertained ourselves..for once, i think i look abit like him..wahahahaha

dinner @ one of de malls nearby..self-entertainment again while waitin for our food to b served..once again, we ordered too much..2 huge crabs, fish, roasted pork etc..but was quite nice lah..Biao Yi's treat, although she n my dad like "fightin" over de bill n even de manager ( who served us ) was involved in their little tussle..wahahaha

after dinner, Biao Yi invited us to her house for a crab meal ( yes..crab again!! haha )..she lived in dis nice little condo juz a short distance away from de station..realise dat de flats/condo units in Hk r quite small, although their price is on par wif those in S'pore, or even more..de cost of livin in HK is sure high man..Biao Yi prepared delicious big hairy crabs for us..it's fab!!! much nicer den those we had earlier on..haha..high cholesterol though..haha..see de 3rd pix? dat's my Biao Yi's bro wif my dad..dun u think he look abit like Wu Meng Da ( de one who always used to act wif Stephen Chow )..when i told my parents dat 9 after we left, of coz ), they couldn't stop laughin..haha..i really do think he look abit like de actor..dun u think so? =p

took a bus back to our hotel after spendin abt an hr plus at Biao Yi's place..self-entertainin again..wahahaha

alighted @ de nearest stop from our hotel ( thx to de bus driver..coz we r totally clueless where we r supposed drop off )..apparently we weren't full enough, so we decided to pop over to one of de dessert stall juz opp our hotel..i had a bowl of Fa Sheng Hu ( peanut..erm..soup? ) and i totally fell in luv wif once i had my 1st taste of it..damn nice can..dad had Zhi Ma Hu ( actually wanna ordered dat too since it's my fav, but wanna order somethin diff from dad so can share ) which taste ok, mum had Gui Ling Gai n bro's green bean soup..all r yummy ( HK style dessert r always yummy..haha ) but still think mine's best..heez

headed back to our hotel to zzz..sorry ah..pix abit blur coz i was crossin de road n tkin de pix at de same time..haha

Thursday, 3rd nov

sis recommended us dis Ming Xin Restuarant be4 she left for work..it's only a few mins walk from our hotel..de dim sum is definitely nicer den those we had in ShenZhen..i had a tasted de diff versions of Tang Bao in HK/ShenZhen, but i still prefer those from Ding Tai Feng in S'pore..heez..anyway, dim sum in HK always taste gd..at least Bu Nan Chi lah..

after breakfast, time to go to DisneyLand!!! haha..changed a few trains from where we stayed be4 we reached Disneyland station..dad had already booked de tix online, so dat saves us time from quening up..

1st stop is to de Main Street, USA..this is where we took a tour of de disneyland on de railroad, lastin abt 15mins..yes..more me in dis pix..haha..nothin else to do as we were waitin for eeryone to fill up de railway be4 movin off..

we took a full tour 1st, be4 alighting at Fantasyland.when mummy suggested tkin de Dumbo ride, i was damn surprise man..haha..din koe mum so On one..we had fun lah..bro keepin sayin dat luckily his frenz r not thereif not he will b damn paiseh..wahahaha..

lunch time!! we went to the Royal Banquet Hall ( a restuarant at Fantasyland ) for makan..de decoration is damn nice..somethin like out of Beauty & the Beast..pretty pretty..we had grilled chicken n sausages, plus some fried dumpling, Nuo Mi rice n a tiramisu..i luv tiramisu!!! but sinful sinful..........

after lunch, we went to some gift shops wif de intention of buyin some souveniers..but they r pretty ex, n some even look like imitations!! esp de soft toys..they look so fake yet so costly..(-_-")

proceed to the Adventureland where we took a boat ride thru de swamps..quite interesting, albeit de tour guide's abit lame..but well..dat's their job lah..i shot a video of de ride, so no pix..i like de elephant ( fake one lah )..it's so cute..when we pass by him he was like wavin n sprayin water at us..haha..after de ride we were makin our way back to de Main Street when we saw these drums..dad n moi were like abit excited over them..haha

we bought some snacks at the Bakery while waiting for de Parade to start..i luv their apple pie..very yummy..we found a spot at de side of de Parade road n waited impatiently for i to begin..n finally slightly after 3.30pm, we heard music playin at de other end!!!

the Parade lasted abt half an hr, but i was already meltin by den..de sun is horrible!! but at least de Parade is entertaining..i pity those involved in de parade..they hv to dance n change their outfits twice, all de while wif a smile plastered on their faces..i can see them perspirin like mad..haha..wat to do..it's their job..

we left Disneyland shortly after de Parade ended..i felt funny..it's like i was kinda excited abt goin to Disneyland while i was in S'pore..but once i'm there, it's like "wat am i suppose to do here?"..haha..i dunno wat am i suppose to see n wat it's there for me to feel excited abt..but it was a nice experience nonetheless.. =)

we were suppose to meet up wif my sis after her work for dinner at Times Square..i remembered dat it's at Causeway Bay ( coz we went there de previous time ) but dad insisted it is at Admiralty..so i diam diam follow him lah..but when we alighted at de station, we were obviously at de wrong place..i ended askin de station control ple for directions n A-ha, i was right!! haha..felt very proud of myself ( for no reason though..haha ) as i lead de way all de way to Causeway Bay..i'm gettin more n more familiar wif de trains in HK..heez

waited for sis at Times Square..after meetin up wif her we made our way to some nearby Teochew Restuarant where she had made reservation for dinner..

@ de restuarant..sis told us alot of artiste often went their to makan..de food quite alright..i luv ther O-ni..yummy yummy..din hv enough of it..

me n bro was actually quite sianz thruout coz we din buy anythin at all..so sis brought us to MongKok for shopping!!! without our parents dis time..haha..we took de Public bus from our hotel area all de way there..sis told us dat dis buses allows only abt 16 passagers n de drivers drive like mad!! they speed all de way once de bus is filled up..haha..it was fun though..

since we were to check out of de hotel only at 12noon, so we went to de famous Xin Guang Da Dao ( Avenue of Stars ), which is juz behind New World Centre..saw dis nice vintage car while inside de centre..

hungry hungry!! lunch at one of de shops there..i had dunno what Dao Gei Hor Fun ( last pix )..nice nice..so nice till almost half of them r eaten by my bro n dad.. (-_-")...

time for dinner!! erm..actually not time lah..coz we only had our lunch 2 hrs ago..but since there's nothin much to see in Macau n dad doesn't wan to go back hotel juz to come out again for dinner, so we had it early..Portugese food!!! yummy yummy ( erm..dunno how else i can descibe de food..haha )..their famous chicken curry is very unique..it's not spicy, but rather sweet..n de chicken meat is so smooth..i luv them..de pork ribs is another of their famous dish..it's not bad too..juz dat i dun really koe how to appreciate pork ribs..cant get enough meat out of them, n den tend to get stuck to my front teeth..haha..mine's de one in de last pix..it's some fish pie served wif mushroom n cheese..it's not bad, but i was still feelin full from my last meal so din manage to finiah it..haiz..wasted..

complimentary breakfast @ de hotel..nothin great..juz normal international breakfast consisting og toast, eggs n sausages..but was rather fillin..it muz b de toast..haha

dad got a map from de hotel reception so he took us to some of de local attractions by bus..we sat all de way to de terminal n reach dis place..i dunno wat's so special abt dis, but apparently it's one of de attractions there..so tk some pix lor..haha

we took another bus dat bought us to Taipa ( which is part of Macau but on a separate island..i think )..so pix again..

took another bus ( again ) n dad brought us to de famous Sands Casino in Macau..bypass dis places while on our way there..

back to Xin Ma Lu again..yes..again..there really isn't much to see in Macau lor..dat's y we kept goin back to de same places..haha..

lunch at one of de famous wanton mee shop there..i had a dry one..shld had order de wanton mee soup..taste better..also had some porridge ( some minced meat porridge n a crab porridge )..overall was quite nice lah..or mayb i'm juz hungry lah..

dad brought us to dis dessert shop juz at de entrance of Xin Ma Lu for their famous Dan3 Dan2 ( pronouced in cantonese..also known as steamed egg )..wah..really surperb ah..but i made a wrong choice again..i had de cold one inside of de warm one, which tasted 10times better..haiz..i also had a Bo Lu Bao n bro ordered a dunno what pork bun..i like my Bo Lu Bao..very HK style..haha

headed back to our hotel to check out..dat's de hotel car dat sent us to de airport..

after checkin out we still hv some spare tme be4 we were due to set off to de aiport..so had a drink at a small shop juz a few steps from de hotel..hadn't been seein dis packagin of coke for ages le..

haiz..i fail my driving test!!!

got 30 demerit pts..10 due to me stopping at the pedestrian crossing somewhere along teck whye..

actually when de light turned amber, i'm suppose juz continue..or i could stop be4 de pedestrian crossing if i brake hard enough..but see where i stop? (-_-")..like dat 10 pts gone..haiz..

sianz..after dat din really concentrate on my driving so kana a few demerit pts here n there..haiz..actually at de start of de test i already cocked-up le..

was drivin in de circuit when de tester asked me to turned right to the ramp station ( see de 27 )..there's dis car ( black ) who's goin to turn right but de instructor in dat car signal for me to go 1st..see dat de junction is a 2 way st, meaning there's 4 lanes, 2 further lanes is for turning right ( blue arrrow ) whereby the 2 lanes closer to me is for turning left..guess where i turn to? ..yes..de blur me turn towards de lane closest to me ( purple arrow )..think my tester got a shock..hur-hur-hur..4 marks gone..

if i din make dis 2 stupid mistakes, i would hv gotten 16 demerit pts, more den enough for me to pass..haiz..i dun feel too bad abt failing the test..kinda expected it liao..so nervous how to pass..it's juz dat i hv to wait till jan den retest..so long..haiz

proceeded to taka to look for somethin else i can buy for fren..but din find anythin else suitable for her lor..so in de end only got her a card n a gift box for de present..really hopes she wun mind..

den it's my turn to shop...but went from taka to wisma to far east but still din find anythin i like..oh..aside from a bracelet n earrings i bought from heeren lah..haha..becomin too careful of wat i buy le..money not easy to earn man..

Ever since i received my results for my last sitting exams, i hv been torn between deciding whether to tk 4 papers @ 1 go in dis coming dec exams, or to juz retake de 2 ( paper 2.5 & 2.6 ) which i flunked..but dis means dat i would need to tk another semester to complete my degree, if nothin goes wrong dis time..feel dat it's like wasting my time lor, especially now dat i'm attending classes for 2 other papers ( paper 3.1 & 3.2 )..

paper 2.6 & 3.1 are actually almost de same..both r audit papers..it's juz dat 3.1 will b more detailed lor..n can say in a way dat by studyin 3.1, u will b covering 2.6 too..which means dat i only hv to study for 3 subjects..but den, 3.2 is de killer man..advanced taxation!!! n to think i only managed to scrap thru my previous tax paper on my 2nd try..haiz..

currently left wif abt 2 mths to my exams..n i koe dat i wun hv much time for revison lor..hv to go for more drivin lessons coz will b havin my TP at de end of dis mth..will b off for 1 wk's holiday in nov..dad juz gave me another company's account to do ( i'm tkin more den 1 mth to do my current accounts lor.. )..n of coz gotta tk some time to plan for my 21st bday lah..haha..

come to think of it..my 1st paper for dec exams will always b on a few days after my bday..how nice.. (-_-")

my stupid mouse went ku-ku!!!

i was usin another one for de past few days coz dad took mine..while i was happily checkin my mail when all of a sudden it decided to stop moving..so my 1st assumption is dat de mouse's spoilt..ok nvm..so i got back my dear mouse from dad dis mornin n it's ok..but after a while, it decided to stop workin..so i reboot my com but de same damn cursor is still stuck in de middle of my screen..tried all kinds of ways n in de end decided to pluck all my cables out of my CPU n set them up again..was so frustrated @ de com dat i forgot to pluck in my webcam cable, n Voila~, my mouse revived!!

dat left me wonderin: wat does de webcam gotta do wif my mouse's functionin? anyone?

i've been too lazy to blog dis days le..dunno y leh..think got season one..haha..now is de down period..ok..tokin rubbish liao..

met up wif dear min on mon after work..haven been meetin her for quite a while le..think de last time is when she pei wo go pierce my ears..dat is like in july..haha..everyone's busy dis days..as for me, it's more of laziness lah..think de only place i wanna go on days without class is to go home n slack..need some si ren kong jian..wahahaha..anyway, met her @ JP coz convenient for her..had dinner @ Long John n chatted mostly abt de Superstar thingy, esp my dear WeiLian..haha..went shoppin after dat which ended up wif me owin another 2 pairs of shoes & a long sleeve shirt..haha..so long din buy clothes le..so happy!! wheeeeeee..oh..n my dear made 3 mini cup cakes for me..delicious..thx dear..~muackz~ =)

went for my drivin lesson on thu..long time din say anythin abt my drivin le..coz still very jia lat..i definitely fail on de safety criteria..wahahaha..find it very ma fan to check here check there when all u do is to change lane..sianz..my stupid drivin test on oct..so near le..sianz sianz sianz..had breakfast wif piggy after dat..we had been havin breakfast together every thu for de past few wks coz dat's de only time we can catch up on our lives..come to think of it..haven been meetin up wif my close frenz for dis few mths..esp when i started wokrin full time..compared to JC times, it's so sad to koe how little time we spent together dis days..haiz

somethin happened in de office too..my supervisor handed in his resignation letter to my dad dis wk..we ( my family ) were quite surprise @ dis..we understand dat given his character ( weird, if u ask me ) dat he would leave sooner or later, but he only worked here for abt a yr..he told my dad dat he wanted to move on wif his career n to work in one of de Big 4 audit firms..it irks me to koe dat all de staff workin here is juz usin dis as a steppin stone..they came here to learn & gain experience n den *poof*, be gone..but dat's de way of life..they wun b satisied to stay in a small audit firm for live, dat i koe..it's juz dat i dislike de feelin lah..like they r makin use of us..haiz

abt dis supervisor of mine, i actually started to dislike him from de very beginin..he's like abit zhi4 bi4, n always had his lunch alone..i think some of my colleagues had invited him to join us but he decline..he's like very gui gui shui shui ( sneaky ), n always asked when my sis will b returnin from HK n when me n bro will pass our ACCA..it's like he feels very threatened by our presence..he's like dat when me n bro were workin part time ( we only went office for 2 to 3 days per wk ) few mths back, n it gotten worse when we started full time..n he almost never post a qn directly to us; he will always ask another colleague to do so, even when we r like juz beside him (-_-")..my cousin ( mother's side ) who's an estate agent was his ex-colleague..he told us dat he works @ his previous co for only abt 1 to 2 yrs be4 resignin..my dad read thru his resume n found dat he works for abt a yr to 2 in each of his previous Co..n he's only 32 dis yr..can u imagine how many jobs he had changed in all dis yrs?

how can someone like him survive in dis society? u hv to b a team player no matter wat..n he expects to make it big in de bigger firms..ha-ha-ha

I'm back!!

i koe dat i hv been MIA for quite some time..really kinda busy dis days..wif accounts work n studies..so by de time i reach home, is already quite late for me to go online to chat..sianz..

finally somethin more happenin tdy!! haha..went to Bt Panjang Plaza wif piggy in de afternoon for de Superstar "wo shou hui"..was there @ abt 1 plus but tonnes of pple were already stationed @ de "strategic" areas to see their idols..(-_-")..we managed to find a spot on de 2nd level which we tot dat will give us a clearer view of de whole event, but when de Superstars finally arrived @ abt 3pm, everyone start pushin n stuff..but i still consider lucky lah..given my height, i still managed to see everythin, albeit not dat close-up..erm..u koe wat i mean lah..

as u all koe, i rather like Kelvin compared to de other contestants..but dis days, i took a likin to Jason a.k.a GuoQiang too..he's de 1st to b eliminated from de man's last 4 ( nan zi zhu 4 qiang ) n also de closest to Kelvin among all de contestants..like his looks n attitude, plus bein nice to Kelvin also helps..haha..

dat's him..my colleague say he looks kinda old..well he's 26 but who cares as long i like him..haha

ok..back to de event..when de stars arrived, de whole place was filled wif screamin gers n guys..deafening!! FM93.3 DJ Peifen, lookin pretty in casual top plus jeans made de usual intro n stuff..she den requested de stars to sing unplugged a few verses of their own fav songs..n dear Kelvin started singin "mei li de ben nu ren", which's Kelly's famous song..in turn, Kelly sang "gu dan de ye li wo bu gu dan" for Kelvin..de other 4 finalists ( Candyce, Sin Huay, Jason & Junyang ) did de same, singin de other finalist's fav song..JY & Candcye were bein teased again, esp when Candcye looked @ him while singin JY's "I Love You"..it was fun n nice, but i think it's better for them to stick to their own songs..juz imagine if Kelvin was to sing de full song of "mei li de ben nu ren" in his famous sad way, n Kelly singing "gu dan de ye li wo bu gu dan" wif her chirpy vocal (-_-")..

it was den time for de handshake sessions for those who bought de concert tix..de whole session was over in less den an hr..so short..i hv been rather curious abt Kelvin becoz as u all koe, he's in 1 way or de other different from us..so tdy i finally gettin to see him in person..he looks quite good, really..i like his hair style n outfit..he was clad in a sports jacket, jeans n sport shoes, lookin very fresh n funky..i think de whole packagin helps alot..n if he juz stands there without movin ard, u wun b aware dat he's actually visually impaired..it's only when he starts to smile ( quite unnatural at times, he say so himself ) n move ard wif de help of guiders u will notice his disability..nvm..as long as he has de voice, i will support him!!! yes..i'm totally in luv wif his unique nasal vocal.. =)

oh..no pix coz my bro's cam die on me..anyway, from de place where i'm standin, it's not close enough for me to tk nice nice pix..too bad..

after de whole session thingy, piggy pei wo go met up wif my colleague @ jurong east interchange be4 headin off to his own destination..my colleague wanted to service her mp3 player n shun bian go tk a look @ de creative festival..was feelin kinda tired but since i made her changed her plan so many times, feel guilty if i fly kite again..haha..wantin to buy a new set of speakers for my com, but they costs over 100bucks..too ex liao..n actually my speakers r still in gd condition, juz dat i find them too plain for my com..haha..i like xian qian duo rite..heez..also saw a digi cam costin abt 200bucks only, but when i tried tkin a pix usin digi zoom de pix turns out to b kinda blur..i understand dat my hands are'nt stable when tkin de pix, but it wun b much a prob if i were to use a better quality cam..so in de end, we left de fest empty handed..realise dat since i started workin n earnin a megre salary per mth, i become more careful wif money..which is a gd thing, i hope..haha

had KFC for dinner @ Jurong Entertainment Centre be4 headin home..bein there juz brought back memories of my JC days when my group of frenz will always hang out together after school..miss those days man..haiz..

we set off from our house @ abt 5am n drove all de way to airport..it already statred rainin in sg so early in de mornin..haiz..arrived @ de airport abt 40mins later n check-in our luggage..flight @ 7.05am n we decided to grab a few sandwiches from Subway since we dun hv much time for a proper breakfast..went into de waitin area n for dunno watever reason, de airport mada "saw" somethin suspicious when my handbag went thru de conveyor belt for scannin..so one of them literally empty de contents of my bag, n scan it 2 more times..i was damn pissed off at de time becoz 1) i hate pple touchin my bag n emptyin out all de contents for all to see, n 2) de mada got abit of attitude problem..but in de end they cant find dat "susicpious" item in my bag..wat a waste of time..@#$%@#

plane took off slightly later den scheduled due to some planes comin in to sg..de flight took abt 3hrs 30mins..reached Macua airport @ abt 11am..we took a cab from de aiport st to de ferry terminal @ Taipa ( Tam Zai ) to cross over to HK, or rather Kowloon..me n bro wasn quite prepared for de choppy ferry ride n when we finally reached our destination 1hr n 10mins later, both of us were drenched wif sweat n nearly vomited..(-_-")

approached de information counter for directions to our hotel, The Kowloon Hotel..de ger suggested we walkin over instead of tkin a cab since it will only tk abt 10mins..so wif our luggage in hand, we made our way to our hotel..we were like halfway there when it started rainin..damn suay man..we dashed across roads n junctions n finally arrived slightly drenched @ our hotel..my sis was waitin for us there..did de usual checkin in n proceed to hv our lunch @ one of de hotel's restuarants where my sis had reserve a table..had dim sum & pigeons..i dun really find them nice, tasted abit bland to me..i think HK food r of a lighter taste, as in they dun tk their food oo salty or sweet..erm..u koe wat i mean lah..very difficult to explain..haha..is dat true, KY dear?? haha..

after lunch sis need to go some place 1st so we went to our rooms to do some unpackin be4 headin out to explore Kwoloon!!! erm..part of it lah..we took de MTR ( HK's version of our MRT..actually is de same, except dat de average travellin speed of their subway is like at least twice of dat in SG!!! ) at de Tsim Sha Tsui station, since our hotel is located juz beside it..we alighted from Mong Kok n wandered out of de station from one of de exit, walk abit n ended up @............

haha..pix ripped off from some site..forgot to de a pix of de mall..anyway, dis is de famous new shoppin mall in MongKok, i think..it consists of 13 levels & 4 basements ( of which 2 r carparks ) n it's huge!!! we din explore de whole mall..juz a few levels but i managed to buy 2 tees from 1 of de shops..costs only HK$150 after 40% discount n some more bargainin..haha..happy happy..anyway, de mall is simply a shoppin heaven..interested to koe more abt it, click here

had dessert @ 1 of de shops at some corner..i had black sesame wif beancurd..quite nice, although i would prefer a all black sesame dessert anytime..haha..daddy ordered black sesame wif red bean n mum somethin similar..bro had mango buddin plus dunno wat..cant rem..we left de mall after dat..n since de rain had lessen, daddy decided dat we can make our way back to our hotel, on foot!!! which means we hv to walked de distance of 3 subway stations!!! (-_-")

went back to our hotels n waited for my sis to join us for dinner..took de subway again back to MongKok n sis bought us to Tung Choi Street ( Women's Street ) to walk walk n had dinner @ one of de shops..had porridge, mee n some of their local dishes..once again, a bit bland for my likin but still yummy..heez..

after dinner, we walked n walked n ended up at one of de Jewellery shops there..mum, sis n moi tried on numerous earrings n think it's only abt an hr plus later dat each of us finally found de diamond earrings we like..

wahaha..yes..in case u r wonderin, i bought 3 earrings..plus a 18k silver chain..wahahaha..Da Shou Huo!!! mine totalled to abt HK$ 4000, i think..mum n sis each got a pair of earrings too..daddy Da Chu Xue ah..heez.. ( a big kiss to daddy..wahahaha..)

by de time we finished our jewellery shoppin, it was close to 11pm..kinda tired to cont shoppin so took de subway back to Tsim Sha Tsui..end of Day 1 !!!!!!!

left our hotel @ abt 9am..raining again..sianz..cant decide on where to makan breakfast, so ended up at Hotel Miramar HongKong..de food was ok, not a great deal of variety though..went back to our hotel to check out coz daddy only made reservation for a day..he wasn sure where we will b stayin ( i.e in Macau or Kowloon )..anyway, went over to The Imperial Hotel after checkin out to check in..haha..kinda like hotel-hoppin..luckily, it's still ard de same area..

after de necessary checkin-in, we headed to the China Ferry Terminal to tk a ferry to Macau..dis time, me n bro r well prepared wif de pills for motion sickness..fell asleep as soon as we sat down..very effective..think i can even dance ard de ferry without feelin giddy..haha..reached de macau ferry terminal after 1plus hr n took a cab to Taipa area to de famous Pinocchio restuarant for lunch...

found our way back to Casa Garden where we took a bus back to de ferry terminal..it was already 6plus when we reached Kowloon n was rainin again..met up wif my mum's cousin, i call her Biao Yi ( translated to cousin aunt ), who took us to 1 of de restuarnts near our hotel for dinner..dinner was mainly seafood again..quite ok lah..was on our way back to our hotel when my bro drag my dad n moi to 1 of de City Chain outlets over there..he wanted a new watch n my dad bought 1 for him, since he din buy anythin for my bro yet..bro saw a Ellesse watch which he likes ( n also able to fit his wrist..wahahaha.. ) so dad bought it..no favouritism ah..haha..

20th Aug, Saturday
woke up at 8plus..waited for my Biao Yi to meet up wif us @ our hotel..de weather was much worse den de previous 2 days..heavy rains wif thunder storms..luckily, de subway station was only a few paces away from our hotel so managed to stay relatively dry while we make our way to Disneyland!! haha..yes..although we din go in to see..de rain is juz too big..anyway, we alighted from Sunny Bay station n board de subway operated solely to go to Disneyland resort.. we left to proceed to HongKong via subway..alighted from Central station ( Zhong1 Yang1 ) n transfered to de Island Line ( Gang2 Dao3 Xian4 ) be4 alightin @ Causeway Bay ( Tong2 Luo2 Wan1 )..we were runnin out of time so din really shop ard de mall @ Causeway Bay..we headed towards a small shop dat's only abt 1 street away from de sation for Wanton Mee!! Biao Yi says it's quite famous over there, de shop i mean..but hor..erm..again it tastes abit bland to me..isit juz me or wat? haha..anyway, was enjoyable lah..when u feel hungry ( din tk breakfast ), almost everythin will b nice..we ordered 5 bowls of wanton mee, 2 bowls of porridge n 1 plate of hor fun..yes..our appetite is still de same..wahahha..

headed back to our hotel via subway to check out..it was already 2 plus n our flight is @ 7pm..still hv to tk de ferry back to Macau n check in @ de airport..ma fan man..juz as we r leavin our hotel, it started to pour again..we din managed to flagged a cab @ our hotel so hv to walk abit of distance to de main road, wif our luggage behind us..we will like standin in de rain for quite some time be4 we flagged down a cab..so exciting man (-_-")..reached de ferry terminal n bought de tix..n den for de 2nd time durin de trip, somethin suay happen to me again..

i was at de immigration checkpt waitin was my passort to b stamped..my parents n bro was @ another queue which is much faster n so they r waitin for me behind de counters..each of us were carryin a luggage bag, n plus another plastic bag of mooncakes my Biao Yi gave us..so i was happily ( well..i was actually kinda pissed @ how slow de immigration officer was..haha) makin my way to family when i was stopped by 2 female chin-na immigration officers..they wanted to do a spot check on me!!!!!! my family was also shocked..there's nothin i can do so i guai guai follow them into some room..

i was gettin damn pissed off @ dat time, instead of nervous..mayb due to de fact dat de ferry's leavin in abt 15mins time n was checked for no reason..they will speakin to me in cantonese n though i can understand ( coz i'm one, duh ), but there's some specific terms dat i catch no ball..so i told them i dun really understand canto, n so they switched to mandrian..very chin-na mandrian..n guess de 1st thing they ask me??

No-oooooo..n den proceeded to check my luggage, my mooncakes!! & my slingbag..i simply HATE pple sniffin thru my bags, n dis is precisely wat they did..so can u imagine how angry i got..n it showed in my face, it think..so i ask them bluntly if there is any reason why they r doin a check on me..n they reply wif,

wtf..yes i koe u officers Gao Gao Zai Shang, but there muz b a reason y rite..like is it becoz u dun like my face or wat..n den there's dis stup*d officer who's like admirin my passport or wat, found somethin funny/interestin or wat..ok..those holdin singapore passports would koe dat there r a few pages inside dat r marked wif dotted letters or numbers, rite..i dunno wat it is for ( bro later told me dat it's for those visually impaired pple..for wat purpose i dunno ), n wouldn't hv cared if not for dis incident..she asked me,

me: i dunno..mayb r juz for numberin pages......

but i din say out lah..dun wan to make more trouble den i'm already in..at last, they r happy wif their "spot check" n finally let me out..de 1st thing i saw my family was to blurt out a string of dirty words..haha..yes..i'm not dat shu nu..told them wat happened, esp de gun part..wtf..my dad den told me dat after i was inside, he asked another immigration officer y was i stopped..de officer says dat becoz i was carryin alot of stuff, n they saw dat i was alone ( @ de counter )..(-_-")

i wasn't carryin lots of things actually, but mayb becoz of my size, or rather height, it seems dat de stuff r quite alot in proportion to my size..dat's de only reason he gave...........ok..i got nothin more to say..juz dat i'm damn suay....

after dat, everythin was smooth sailin..reached Macau airport quite early, so went for our dinner..had mushroom mee n shared Portuguese eggtarts wif family..de eggtarts r yummy, better den those in Sg..board de plane on time n finally arrived Home at 10plus..later supper @ de airport be4 headin to home sweet home...

ok..finally done wif de trip..i took abt 3 days to blog, although only bit by bit each time..cant really rem much..hope u enjoy, although pls excuse me for my english..gettin bad to worse..haha

i'm back from my trip!! actually was back on sun mornin, but was really really lazy n not in de mood to blog..soon, i promise..heez

went out wif my colleague, Kym, juz now after work..had dinner @ NYDC, heeren outlet!!! so long never go there le..we shared a Destiny's Child pasta, a Cookie Monster Mudpie ( or somethin like dat ) n a cup of Iced Manhanttan Mocha..so romantic rite..haha..wasn feelin dat hungry lah..anyway, dinner's nice nice..

walked over to Lucky Plaza after dat n i finally bought de perfume dat i'm so obsessed over wif dis days!! had my 1st smell of de sample, which comes as a free gift, when i bought my Sep issue of Cleo..n from de 1st sniff, i fell head over heels in love wif it!!! ( ok lah..abit kua zhang..haha )

okie okie..my webcam has revived!! so ya..my new hair style plus colour!!

my hair colour is actually lighter den it seems in de pix..de highlights r much brighter shade of red..but u koe lah..my webcam isn't dat clear..hmm..i a-gar de colour shown in de pix is abt 75 to 80% of my actual colour..my colleagues say it's quite bright but i think is ok only..haha..so nice??

ok peeps..i finally did somethin to my hair!!! after like mentionin it mths n mths ago..i din do anythin outrageous wif my hair style..juz a trim @ de back n a diagonal cut on de fringe..ali..similar to de style u did when me n piggy accompany u to de hair saloon at raffles there..

But........

i dyed n hightlighted my hair RED!!! ali ali..Red streaks!!! haha..my original hair colour ( de one which i dyed like abt a yr ago ) was somethin of reddish-brown..my hair stylist ( @ Far East SuperCut ) initially wanted to give me a 2-tone colour dye ( to cover up my black roots n to make it more strikin ) plus highlight, but it will ended up costin abt 300bucks, wif haircut..so she recommended touchin up on my roots, plus hightlights, which will totalled up to $202, includin haircut n treatment, which is @ half de normal price becoz of me doin colourin..so i opt for de alternative..de whole hair thingy took up abt 3plus hrs..poor piggy gotta wait like an extra 1 n a half hr for me..piggy also cut + dyed his hair brown..quite refreshin..n de hair stylist styled it quite well..a new look for mr piggy ker!! haha..

haiz..wanted to post up pix of my new hair style, but my webcam ( or my com..dunno which one lah ) cocked up..somethin like not enough virtual momory..so no pix until my webcam decided to work again..but by den my hair wun look dat nice liao lah..haiz...

hmm..been really inconsistent wif my bloggin dis days..can t help it lah..either too tired or lazy liao..plus nothin really exciting really happens dis days..yawn..but at least got went out gai gai once for de past wk..

woke up @ abt 10plus on sun mornin..tdy's de day!!! haha..was supposed to meet piggy @ abt 11 am to get our hair done @ far east, but piggy felt ill suddenly..i din really wanna go alone so gotta postpone de appoinment..was kinda disappointed coz was actually lookin forward gettin a new hair style/colour..but bo bian lah..tian yi nan wei..haha..abit kuai zhang..heez so i msged min n ask her to try to meet me earlier..but she took quite awhile be4 replyin..so meanwhile, i was busy thinkin of way to get my doggie out of it's so-called cage..u see..my doggie has a little problem wif one of his front legs..it's kinda crooked..been like dat since young..moreover, my house now dun hv any grass patch for it to move ard, so it doesn do much gd to his legs ( as in it's not as strong as it shld hv been )..he's abt 9yrs old dis yr, so obviously he's gettin weaker..it happens dat my dad washed his cage dat mornin, n he forgot to let de dog out..n so my doggie was happily lyin on de wet ground when suddenly he felt like comin out for a pee or watever ( i assume lah )..only den my poor doggie realise he couldn't get up!!! so he started barkin for help..initially i tot he was barkin for de sake of barkin ( he sometimes does dat ) so i ignored it..it was only after some time dat i felt dat it was a little unusual for him to make so much noise for more den a few mins..went inside de cage n hv a look n saw him frantically waggin his tail ( or watever it's left..haha ) when he saw me..tried to lure him out by pretendin to get him his fav snack n also de dog chain..but he was still helplessly lyin prone to de ground..as a last resort, i grabbed hold of his front legs n slowly pull him out of de cage..it hurt abit but i din hv other way out..haizzzzz..sim tia ah..but at least he managed to get up ( de tiles outside de cage r more rough )..gave him a few gd pats n snacks to make up..haha

met up wif min ( finally!! ) at tangs ard 2plus..she made some brownies for me!! yummy yummy..thx min..n de 1st thing we do was to procced st to wisma to get my ears pierced..was considerin 1 "professional ear-piercin" shop juz behind famous amos but as it was abit to ex, decided to go to Bits & Pieces instead..i was actually feelin ok until de moment i stepped into de shop..got abit of nervous n was gettin close to panicky when de ger was abt to pierce my right ear lope when, wif a "tat" sound, it was done!! all was over in a matter of mins..$10 + a few mins = ears pierced!! =P

treated min to Mos burger ( since i was so so late ) after dat..we both had ebi rice burger n it was only when i was abt to finish mine dat i recalled my aunt n mum askin me to avoid takin seafood for a wk!! opps..

went to watsons to buy some stuff n as we were walkin towards de escalator ( towards heeren ), we were stopped by 2 Prudential guys, who jumped out from nowhere..we din really notice them as we were too busy gossipin..haha..so, out of courtesy ( n were some-how "forced"), we followed them back to de tiny winy table juz as de side n began listenin to de usual bank-savin stuff..de guy who "attended" to me were makin small talk as i was fillin up de umimportant survey form..like " u look like eurasian leh..do ur parents look like dat...." blah blah blah..in de mean time, de other guy who stopped min was already preachin abt bank-savin plans, interes or wat so ever..we entertained them by pretendin to listen for a few mins n den min say somethin abt us not earnin enough to save consistently..as for me, i was lookin uninterested n fiddlin wif my bag or hair all de while..so they hv no choice but to let us go..hmm..it wasn dat we r unwillin to listen, but it's juz wastin both of our time..n plus de way they behave doesn give us a gd impression..i dunno abt min's "guy", but de one who stopped me was tokin to me in a manner as if he koe me for a long time..(-_-")..

min stopped for an ice -cream be4 we proceeded to heeren to shop shop..we looked ard n in de end i bought a pouch from wallet shop for my mp3 player after much considerin..small n cute..headed down to lucky plaza to get my long forgotten perfume..Davidoff Coolwater for Woman..nice nice..after dat we went to our fav shoppin area: Far east plaza!! min bought a tee n a tank top for sch purposes while i got myself a purple tee from 77Street..min say i was gettin too "purplish" already..haha..dat's one of my fav colour now =)

last stop back to Wisma where we proceeded to my muz-go shop: Iora..tried on a dark brown flared skirt n a green layered ( i called it de "cake" skirt ) skirt..min preferred de cake skirt while i think i looked better in de brown one..din really like any of de skirt so much to buy it st away..so off we went to Isetan..tried on a few more skirts n finally found a yellow flared one dat de both of us liked..needless to say, it muz b added to my wardrobe..haha..juz be4 headin home, min finally bought de pair of sandals she had wanted for quite some time..a simple but nice white sandals..

phew..been so busy dis days..to b exact, since i started workin in dad's office, i realised i hardly posted up a decent blog..so here it goes.........

1st - 3rd july, fri to sun

drove up to melaka on fri morning..my sis went wif us dis time..been so long since de whole family went for a trip..but i wasn't in de best of health..was feeling damn bloated n naseous since thu..n de feelin lasted till sat be4 i was feelin abit better..dampen de holiday mood..shucks..

stayed @ de Riveria Resort since my dad hv free tics..de 5 of us squeeze into a room..de sleepin arrangement was kinda expected..mum n dad took de 2 beds, bro slept on de sofa ( squeezy though..haha ) n me n sis hv no choice but to sleep on de carpeted floor..n for 2 nights in a row, mum, sis n moi r awaken evey now n den by de erm..beautiful snoring of dad n bro (-_-")..

went to de usual places..makotah ( wrong spellin? not sure..) shoppin mall, jonker street area blah blah blah..wasn't there for much sight seing or wat so ever..juz a short relaxin trip..oh ya..muz tok abt dis chulup dat we tried..it's like those kebab or stay where different types of food ( eg crabsticks, fishballs, mee kia..etc) r placed ( wrong word?? haha ) over satay sticks n were cooked in way silimar to eating steamboat..de food r cooked in some kind of satay gravy n each stick of food r priced by it's colour..din tried it be4 so decided to hv a go..Conclusion: we all din like it..haha..mayb we r not used to it lah..but i would very much prefer our usual satay..

spent de whole morning sleepin, played com n do other stuff..evening went out wif family n makan @ a vegetarian restuarant near wheelock place..de dinner was..erm..ok lah..u see, my whole family r so used to eatin meat so it's kinda difficult to hv a meal without any of it..n my bro said a rather funny thing..

10th july, sun

went for my advanced tax lessons in de morning..was a 6 hrs class for me..10am to 1pm, 1 hr lunch break, n den 2pm to 5pm..i missed de 1st 2 lessons de previous sun ( coz i was still in malaysia) so i was in a totally blurred mode for de 6 hrs lesson..i d n hv any frenz there to help me, n din bother to make some..call me anti-social or wat, but it's difficult to befriend someone @ dis age..esp all of us came from different backgrounds, n of coz ages..some r as old as 50plus n i think i'm one of de youngest student there..so there..i'm on my own..juz as i had been for de whole of last sem for acca lessons..gettin used to it le..haha..

was supposed to meet ali dear @ abt 5.15pm to do some shoppin..but as i was rainin quite heavily @ her place, she postpone de meetin time to 530, n den 6pm..but in de end she reached @ 6plus..haha..typical lah..so while waitin for her, i make my way towards ngee ann city, strolling under de light drizzle of rain..went to de library, read de last few pages of my book, returned it, borrowed a new one, read some magazines n finally ali called n said she'd arrived!! haha..met up wif her n had our dinner @ Yoshinoya..afterdat we went to do some shoe shoppin..can read her blog abt dis..haha..in de end, we bought de same pair of sandals..it's light purple wif a triangular design/pattern or watever, n wif a comfy shoe base..after dat we went to Sasa, Iora ( my fav boutique dis days..heez ), Isetan n finally Topshop be4 headin home..gotta work de next day so cant stay out too late..haiz..anyway, enjoyed shoppin wif her..we r like a pair of crazy za bos..haha..

11th july, mon

work as usual..left office @ abt 530 as i need to attend my audit & assurance services lessons..met my fren, siewling for dinner be4we went to class..another fren, huiqin joined us there..in case u r wonderin, i koe hq since i started acca n she was in de same jc as i..in piggy's class, to b exact..so we r no strangers lah..i befriended sl while i was tkin my law lessons last yr in march..we attended de express class, which is only 2 mths of lessons instead of de usual 4mths, n we were de 2 youngest students in de class..naturally we clicked n kept in touched since den..but as she n hq r workin last sem, so they took de evenin classes whilst i took de day classes ( since i was still livin a tai-tai life den..haha )..so i was all alone den..but dis sem we all took de de evenin class, so got pple pei wo..but they din tk advanced tax; they took performance mgt instead..so i am once again alone for my tax class..haha..juz realise i sound very long winded..heez..

met piggy after work..went to westmall as i need to buy some stationeries..but de popular outlet there was under revamp!! had dinner @ mac be4 headin to lot 1..bought my stuff n decided to shop abit..bought a black cardigan @ metro n proceed to bata..saw dis very nice pair of golden wedge/sandals which i think it goes perfectly wif my skirts..waited for abt 20mins or so when de sales ger finally found my shoe size..but when i tried to walk a few steps, it hurts!! de ring thingy cut into my feet..haiz..no choice but to forgo it..went home after dat..

work as usual..reached home @ abt 7plus n waited for limin to arrived..but she msged n say she will go home for dinner 1st..so finally @ abt 9plus to 10pm, she came over n we chatted n went online..been quite some time since i really tok to her coz both of us busy..but still de same n she seems to b in a tao2 hua1 yun4..juz like ali..haha..think i'm de only one who's not..but i'm alrite wif it..to b frank, think i wun hv time for a bf rite now..imagine: workin full time, attendin classes 2 to 3 times a wk n also learnin drivin..wkends r taken up by goin out wif family n doin household chores, n of coz my own stuff..haha..no time no time....

all taken usin my webcam..anyway, we went online n confirm meetin time wif piggy for fri mornin..we r to b @ de airport by 5plus becoz ali's goin in @ abt 615..i went to zzz after dat, which is abt 11pm..min's went to bed slightly after dat..we laid on de bed quietly for quite some time until i playfully disturbed her..haha..both of us cant get to zzz so chatted for quite awhile before dozin off..accordin to min, i fell asleep 1st n she heard me snorin..wahahaha..but @ abt 1plus i woke up n dis time is she who's snorin away..both of us drifted in n out of zzz n be4 we knew it, it was already 4 am..we both got up to washed up n dressed n..erm..it's was 5am be4 i was ready..haha..had a quick drink be4 we went to meet piggy @ my bus stop..i had plan de timmin perfectly but @ dat moment, ali msged me n say dat she had to b n by 6am!!! so we rushed n fortunately manged to flaged a cab n reached there @ abt 5.45am..found ali wif her poly frenz n we chatted n took pix until it was time for her to go in..it's kinda silly, but me n min nearly cried juz be4 ali dear went in..i mean, like ali's mum said, it's only for 3 mths, not 3 yrs..but den, think is de atmosphere lah..ali's also she bu de lah..1st time she went overseas without her family, i think..haha..anyway, say our gdbyes n me, min n piggy proceeded to de BK for breakfast..went to tk de mrt back home after dat..by den, me n min r half dead..only piggy managed to look normal..haha..

reached home @ abt 830am, changed my top n off i go again..went jb wif fam n to giant to do our usual shoppin..after dat had korean cuisine @ one of de houses near de sea..de food was quite ok overall..heez..reached home @ abt 1plus n rested for like half an hr be4 goin back to office wif daddy..left @ 5plus for my evenin class..i was totally in a dazed state.i wondered how i managed to get thru de whole day wif only like a total of 2 hrs of sleep? haha..asked my bro to pick me up from class as i was too tired..but i still managed to stayed up to watch de Guess show be4 i zzz..haha..

woke up @ abt 10plus..feelin refreshed after 10hrs of zzz..haha..watched vcds, tapes n bathe my doggie..went to funan for dinner n to office after dat..finished up my audit case while my dad did some fixin up..went home after dat..received ali's msg!! haha..she's in texas now wif her guai guai kinda fren who was also chosen for dis attachment..haha..poor ali..de other ger was totally different in personality wif ali..wonder how she's goin to survived..

woke up @ 11plus n realised i had a missed call from ali..apparently she called me de prev nite becoz james dear was wif her..but i was dead to de world n din even hear my hp ringin..haha..yes..i was dat tired..anyway, i msged her n james called back..haha..been so long since i talked to him..chatted wif him n ali for quite a while be4 ali told him to cut short becoz it de phone charges quite ex..haha..i understand lah..n den ali msged me..n i was quite pissed off wif de guai guai ger also..

it's like dis..james was in texas visitin his fren n also to visit ali since she's there also..he took them ( ali n de guai ger ) out for a tour ard texas n stuff..he paid for de rental of car n petrol blah blah blah..so now, he's kinda broke n doesn want ( or dun hv de $$..haha ) spend money for a hotel room, so he asked ali if he can stayed in their room for a nite..ali's of coz ok wif it, but de guai ger ( ok..will called her de "shu nu" ) refused..ali got pissed off n ask "shu nu" wat's de prob, it's not as if james will do anythin ( improper ) lah..moreover, james was de one who show them ard n stuff..but de "shu nu" say it's 2 diff matter..(-_-")

when i koe abt dis, i was like "wat de hell is her prob?" it's only for a nite, which is like only 1 few hrs, n james dear will gladly sleep on de floor, not as if he's sharin de bed wif de "shu nu"..i told my mum abt it n she agrees wif me..mum in turn ask my dad wat he thinks of it, n he too think it's ok..i mean, my parents r so traditional n even they think there's nothin wrong wif it..i really wondered wat's de "shu nu" is thinkin...

ok..back to me..went westmall wif fam for lunch..daddy wans to redeem 2 lcd monitors usin his shell pts..but den, after redeem still need to pay an extra of abt $280 for each monitor..but it as for office use so no biggie lah..n den, me n my bro mention abt us wantin a lcd monitor too..i wasn expectin my dad to buy it becoz..erm..from past experiences lah..but after goin back to office to fixed up de monitors, he suddenly told my bro to go sim lim to look ard for lcd monitors..we went to Bliss n saw dis philips lcd monitor priced @ $319, after discount..it only took my dad minutes be4 decidin to get 3 at one go; 1 for my bro, 1 for me n de last one for himself..haha..i was so so so happy k..becoz i've been wantin a lcd monitor for like mths..even longer den my mp3..heez..

i'm broke but Man3 Zai4 Er2 Gui1 !! haha..yes..u guess it..i did loads of shoppin juz now!!!! i bought a pink skirt wif a few lacy lacy thingy from some shop in far east, a black stripped workin pants & a green floral skirt from Iora @ Wisma, and 2 simple tank tops from Topshop!!! haha..retail therapy works after all de stress i get from work dis days..but dat also means blowin more den half of my last mth's pay check on them, which is not very much to begin with..n from de very day where i received dat cheque, i stopped gettin allowance from mummy..so dat leaves a very broke moi now..anyone wanna sponser my expenses from de next 2plus wks or so? =P

haizzz..my sis will b flyin back to HK tmr..feels kinda sad abt it..think will hv to wait until next yr to see her again..n i gotta work tmr..so wun b sendin her off..haizzzz.. *sob sob*

Had a belated celebration for piggy's 21st bday @ de Fish & Co. glass outlet juz beside Parkmall Shopping Mall..i rushed over st after work but ony arrived there @ abt 7pm..by de time i reached, our table's gettin abit noisy..haha..cant blame lah..wat else can happen when u put 6 gers n a guy ( hmm..make it 7 gers..haha ) together? heez..we had a great time stuffing ourselves wif de food n sharing our life stories wif one another..we dun meet up very often but everytime we do, we will definitely hv lots to chat abt..nice time hanging out together.. =) ok..abit lazy to type too much..i'll let de pix do de tokin....

i'm still very much alive, in case u r wondering..haha..been really tired n lazy to blog dis 2 wks..n i dun even hv dat much time to blog..juz imagine leavin house @ 8.15am for work n returnin home @ abt 8pm consecutively for 5 days per wk, sometimes reachin home at abt 10 to 11plus after meetin frenz for dinner, n de same routine de very next day.. been sleepin for an average of 5 hrs plus per day..n it's all brain work while doin audi..i'm totally drained man...

feeling quite sianz right now..becoz i'll be starting work TOMORROW!!! 9 to 6 every weekday..how nice is dat.................

went to Riverside ( or Riverview? ) Hotel for ala carte dinner buffet ytd..sis' treat!! think dinner's about $180..been so long since the 5 of us went for dinner together..had a very pleasant evening..happy & full..i always stuffed myself full lah..haha..

woke up @ 10plus this morning to brin my doggie for his annual jab..but my dear bro zzz till 11.45am!! as a result had to postpone meeting with alicia to 2plus..haiz..shorten our shopping time =( ..anyway, we still managed to do some shopping..wheeeeeee!! ali bought a nice green n white tee n 2 scarf-belts, one for her sis n de other for herself..she tempted me to get one too..bad ali..haha..but is darn cheap..ony 2 bucks each..and to think that i bought a similar one some time back for abt 12plus..daylight robbery man...i also bought a nice and simple purple skirt..suitable for office wear & gai gai..haha..been so long since i last bought a skirt..did some more window shopping before heading to taka to return & borrow some library books..need a book to kill whatever spare time i have during office hours..last stop @ watson where i bought a ZA eyeshadow ( recommended by ali ) before rushing home to meet my family for dinner..

saw piggy's mum when i alight @ my bus stop..haha..surprise surprise..chatted abit before i rushed to de Community Centre where my daddy pick me up ( i was lazy to walk up de long slope..one of my fren call it Er Mei Shan..(-_-") )..went to some christian hotel or what for steamboat + buffet dinner ( ya..buffet again..2 days in a row..that explains my current size..haiz.. )..it's 4 pple for the price of 3..totalled up to abt $140..there's quite a large variety of food..stuff myself to the brink becoz i was starving..din really eat anything the whole day..

so ya..that's my Father's Day programme..back to watching Iron Ladies 2.. =)

juz came back from JB..so tired man..kinda lazy to go drivin later..haiz

somethin happened to me juz now!! i was openin a stapled packet of dog treats for my doggie when de damned staple pricked my palm..@ 1st nothin happen..but after dat i saw my blood began to ooze out of de tiny wound..MY BLOOD!!!! n everythin happen at once..i began to feel nauseous, n was de brink of blacking out..i tried havin a glass of warm water but it make me feel worse..in de end, i lay on de sofa n miraculously, begin to feel better after a minute or so..i rem de same thing happend to me back in J2..some of u might koe..we were quenuin up for de nurses to tk a sample of our blood for some hepatitis B test..it was my turn n de nurse began to poke de needle into my arm..i was dimly aware dat i hv a phobia of seein my blood being drawn up so i turned my head away, refusin to look @ it..but de nurse complained dat i was not squeezin de ball in my palm (erm..u koe wat i mean rite..)..so my 1st reaction was to look down @ my palm, insistin dat i was squeezin de ball wif all my might..n @ dat moment, i saw my blood slowin fillin up de needle tube ( or wat is it called?)..i broke into cold sweat almost immediately..by de time she's done wif it, i was already seein black squares infront of me..i returned to de waitin area n sat down, thinkin i'll b alright after a rest..but more black squares formin right be4 my eyes, n my whole blouse was literally soaked wif my sweat..n dat horrible moment, one of my classmates ( i dun rem who..is it mw?? haha..not sure..) saw de terrible state i was in n told de nurse abt my situation..she den instructed me to lie down on de mat dat they had pulled out..it took me quite some time to recover from it..

ok..somethin amusin happen den..while i was lyin down on de mat, my classmate Joo Seng experience de same thingy as me n so was lyin beside me on de mat..some of my frenz began to crowd ard us, showin concern when Joo Seng suddenly said :"wow..i'm finally lyin beside mag leh.." ..(-_-")..all of us began laughin @ once..even @ de situation we r in he still managed to make some crappy jokes..but he's goofy lah..haha..

so since den, i always freaked out when i see my own blood oozing out..except during my period lah..dat is totally a different thing..wahahaha

oh ya..i mentioned abt my daddy gettin his CPA n startin his biz in my previous entry rite..i was abit wrong abt de system..gettin a CPA does not mean dat u can go start an audit firm..i was juz tokin about it wif my parents..think daddy say somethin abt gettin recognised as an accountant or wat..he say it's easy for pple to get CPA but not de other one..haha..juz some correct info for those who wans to hv a carrer or start a biz in dis field..

ok..gotta go for drivin le..damn sianz..but think i can managed to survive another 90mins of it..haha

haha..i think too far ahead liao..part 3 papers r de killers ah..n i had so much trouble clearin part 2 liao..haiz..only hope dat i can b more diligent for next sem..which is quite difficult for me..haha..coz i hv been urgin myself to pay more attention n revise earlier since de start of de course..but i failed to do so, obviously..haha

ok..enough abt dat..anyway, EXAMS OVER FOR MOI!!!!!! ok..till dec lah..

will b goin to JB in de mornin wif my parents..bro not goin coz he's got paper tmr..will b goin to our fav Giant to buy our usual stuff..n will b goin drivin lesson @ 3pm..did i mention be4 dat i'm gettin sick n tired of drivin?? i think my co-ordination really sux big time..esp when i change to lower gear..i will immediately released de brake after changin gear when de clutch is still depressed..damn dangerous coz it will result in de car surgin forward..wat de heck..how i wish i could change to auto now..haizzzzzzz..my practical test date on 31 oct..n wif my drivin skills now i can say dat it will b a miracle if i can pass on de 1st attempt..my timin will b @ 8.25am somemore..juz as pple r goin work..which means more cars on de road..damn suay man..piggy's luckier..same day as me, but @ 11am..which i think is de best timin after 9plus to 10plus..haha..lesser cars on de road..oh well..see how it goes lah..mayb my drivin will improve tremendously after tmr lesson..haha..like tu1 ran2 kai1 qiao4..haha..

n de most impt thing abt tmr is dat my sis is comin back to s'pore!!!!!!!! wheeeeeeeeee!! although is for abt 3 wks only..din see her for abt 8mths liao..de last time she came back was for her convocation of her masters in finance..haha..strive to b as gd as her..but 1st i muz get my degree 1st be4 tokin abt masters..for those who din koe, my sis decide to venture out to HongKong a yr ago..she's quite ambitious, juz like my dad..she wanted to start a biz over there, but after workin for a yr now it finally dawned on her dat startin a biz, esp in accountancy area, is not dat easy..u need loads of connections, experience n of coz, capital......

ok..sidetrack abit..when i'm younger..i koe dat my dad run his own biz..no big deal, i tot..@ dat time..i believe dat as long as u hv some capital, u can run ur own biz anytime..start from small..go rent a pushcart..buy some cheap but unique stuff in china, bring it back to s'pore..marked up de price for watever profit margin u wan, n volia~~ u r a boss now..haha..how naive..( although i seriously still feels dat some biz, esp de pushcarts, r dis easy..haha)..but it's totally a different thing when u wanna start a biz in de service industry..dis i realise when i grow older..like now..haha..

ok..sidetrack somemore..there's one thing dat irks me very much..everyone who 1st koe me n ya lah..my family background will think :"wow..rich ger..never been thru de hard times..blah blah blah"..i dun disagree wif them totally..n de fact dat i dun do, or rather dunno how to do most of de household chores doesn help too..haha..but i always cringe when someone call me a rich ger..i mean..ya so wat i live in a landed property..it doesn mean dat i hv dat much money in my bank a/c or real cash..i live a comfortable life..but dat doesn mean dat i get hundreds of $$ everytime i ask him for money..ok..i wun say dat my daddy is stingy, but he's very careful wif money..cant blame him for dat rite..he grew up in poverty n supports his siblings when he's only a child himself becoz he's de eldest in de family..n becoz he doesn wan us to live in poverty like he once did, therefore he had to work double hard in everythin he do..n as pple always say, 'huang tian bu fu ku xin ren', his efforts pay off n now i am here livin a comfortable life..haha..but of coz..bein de "spoiled brat" i am, i will complain abt my daddy every now n den for not givin me $$..ignore me de next time i complain abt him..haha..

back to de biz part..so my daddy started his own small audit firm after a decade plus of workin in another firm n finally became his own boss..my mummy used to tell me dat i brought gd luck to my daddy..haha..becoz dunno is a few days/wks/mths after i was born, my daddy's qualified as a CPA, a license u need in order to establish ur own audit firm..haha..i'm had always been proud of dis fact, but as i grow older i realise dat it can b juz a coincidence dat my dad got his CPA @ de time of my birth..haha..my mummy was juz tryin to make me feel important..haha..muackz..luv her loads, although she often irritate me wif her constant naggin..come to think abt it..which mum doesn? haha..

realise dat i sidetrack alot..haha..kk..so my sis will b comin back tmr..wonder wat she will buy for me? *thinkin*..haha..ok..think will end here..gotta go watch my "yu le bai fen bai" which i missed dis evenin coz of exam..

haha..had my 1st paper tdy..de one dat i failed last sittin..not much better dis time round..but hopefully can let me get thru..chances of passin: 50-50..pray for me!!!!

i was feelin total blanked out ytd nite..de result of me tryin to squeeze all de notes into my head for de past few days..so instead of tkin a short break be4 continuin, i decided to give up studyin n play my long forgotten "Disciples" RPG game..i'm a sucker for RPGs..but not those machine guns n stuff..i like games where de characters fight wif swords n spears plus magical powers..haha..anyway, i spent 3 hrs playin dat be4 goin zzz..heez

after de paper tdy, bro n moi went to Bukit Timah Plaza ( or isit Shoppin Centre? it's opp de wet market there..i can never rem which is which.. ) for dinner..bro had mee rebus @ de small foodhouse juz outside ntuc..de mee rebus is de best i ever tasted..de gravy is superb!!! haha..cant wait to eat again..did some grocery shoppin after dat be4 headin home n cont my game..heez..

MeiJing's Bday Celebration

we had a mini celebration for my fren, meijing, who is also my swim team captain back in jc days..had dinner @ Suntec City's NYDC..we shared a huge salad, Destiny's Child Baked Rice & Pasta ( of coz!! haha )..juz as MJ was finishin de last of her baked rice, one of de NYDC staff brought de bday cake over ( we bought it as a surprise for her be4 she arrived )..
